Called Out!
ОтветитьI’m interviewing for a new type of job for me and after seeing all the great feedback I feel excited about this interview.
ОтветитьI applied for a job with the company I already work for. HR called me and I was expecting him to just schedule an interview. To my surprise, it was a preliminary interview and I was blindsided by this question. I think I bombed it. I told him I didn’t really have a plan and that I was mostly content with my current situation. Womp womp.
ОтветитьApplied to a job, took some tips to get through the recruiter interview. Friend has the inside scoop and told me they want to schedule me for an in person interview, gona watch some more of your videos to try and nail this job
ОтветитьCalled out
Ответить“Called out”😬
ОтветитьWish I watched this before 12😂😭
ОтветитьAs an autistic adult struggling in the work force, all these videos have taught me is to lie my ass off in the interview. This whole song and dance is so ableist. Like just ask me about my skills and qualifications as they pertain to the position, please and thank you. It’s none of their businesses whether I have long term goals with the company or not . . .
ОтветитьI really dont see anything wrong with telling them you want a higher role
Ответитьwhat if you're a teen going into an entry level hospitality/retail job? do i tell them about what i what i want to study in the future, or pretend that i want to stay in retail/hospitality?
ОтветитьYour videos are SO helpful and I really appreciate the time you put into them to help us all greatly succeed at rocking these interviews! I just wish I could be as articulate as you in answering different questions, you’re so good at at! 😊
ОтветитьI think it’s the easiest one probably Cause I’m still a teen though so In 5 years ima be graduating college going back to school to get my masters😭
ОтветитьCalled out
ОтветитьI’ve seen this kind of thing happen, but not to the same extend. Maybe a waste of about 20% of the work week on agile meetings, which is already unacceptable.
But most places I’ve worked have been the opposite, lots of underestimation and doing 120% - 200% of the working hours in a week.
Called out!!
Ответитьso if i’m actually using my position as a way to get experience for a career shift… how do i answer this question without making it seem like i will leave?
to illustrate, i went to school for theater but have only worked in customer service. i am now shifting to work towards becoming an art (specifically drama) therapist. i want to get a job as a receptionist in a healthcare office to gain experience working with patients, while also utilizing and honing my customer relations skills. i feel like it would be helpful for them to know why i am interested in a position in healthcare without ANY experience in healthcare whatsoever.
called out!
ОтветитьDoes this apply to minimum wage jobs as well? As a college student the employer knows that I won't be there forever, but how do I work them into my plans
