I was once part of an orchestra playing this when I was young. Its astonishing how little you value things then, because you are stupid at that age.
ОтветитьCan't believe i discovered this one by watching minority report lol
ОтветитьI love reading the comments because the amount of knowledge related to the art form or regarding the composer himself is truly impressive. I feel like I'm in music class all over again, except this time I'm actually paying attention!
ОтветитьI love this music. There is no pretentiousness in this music of any sort, just pure beauty of life and understanding.
ОтветитьAbsolutely wonderful. .... even if a little too fast in places.....
ОтветитьSearch for Unfinished Allegro Carry onlll
ОтветитьThis going to sound ridiculous but, Schubert is the Megadeth to Beethoven's Metallica.
Ответить🌌 "Classical compositions are the architects of emotion, constructing intricate cathedrals of sound that resonate with the depth of the human experience." 🏰🎼
ОтветитьBeing There brought me here.
ОтветитьWho here know this piece after Angra's Carry On?
ОтветитьUsed as ANGRA's prelude to play "Carry On"
ОтветитьIs one of the most beautiful symphonies of all time and the “unfinished “ name simple it’s not the case .
Ответитьi prefer the flute a little faster ...
but he did his best
Fabulous !
Ответитьis this Schubert!? I heard before the 9th....but, now, is this Schubert?! it mus be 1759;
Ответить❤
ОтветитьWell it sounds finished to me (and glorious). But is a work of art ever finished?
Hasn’t some great composer finished this symphony?
ОтветитьThere's so much tragedy in this music and yet so much beauty. It grips my soul every time. Thank you Schubert ❤️
Ответитьvery good
ОтветитьBoring: Too repetitive in the beginning and the rest is boring

ОтветитьGrowing-up in the culturally challenged Central Valley of California (Fresno), Bernstein seemed like a mythological, towering Titan! Now in my Mid-Life, having lived in 2 American Cities with Incredible classical music scenes - NYC, and Philly...with time in Berlin, Prague and Lisbon , I am much more seasoned in terms of Conductors, and Orchestras - and yet, some of "Lenny's" 60's and 70's recording still move me deeply. The Schubert "Unfinished" is one, as well as his cycle of Stravinsky's ballets. Very satisfied with this particular recording! - the tempo is relaxed, and luxuriant. Perfection!

ОтветитьMüthiş 👌
ОтветитьI happily visited today Schubert's house at Hohenems, Austria, Moving and unforgettable.
ОтветитьWith out any doubt,Tchaikovsky took notes of inspiration from here for his swan lake ballet suite
ОтветитьWich year was this recorded ??????
Ответить初聆此曲是自一靜宜女孩家中的盤式錄音機(在花蓮防校受預官專業訓時的一個假日).
女孩去了美國.還真是未完成啊 !
Minority Report movie.
ОтветитьThis is a melody approve of very strong oscillations of composer's mood and feelings, and sometime, for a tired and sensitive ears too strong. Separate, parts of melody sound nice, but from sensitive to destruction self destruction. And I don't understand this pauses in a symphony, sometimes they last to long. From the spring in mountains to the End of the World
ОтветитьThis was my grandfather
Glad everyone is enjoying his music
First began listening to this symphony as a little boy of 10 in Beirut Lebanon.
Now as an old man, it still sends my mind into the stratosphere.
The first movement is amazing but the second is beyond words.
