Been in the building game a long time never seen anyone using one of these gimmicks . Might work for a little diy job but because the bricks are all different sizes you cannot get it out on the bed . With it being solid .and at about 60 pound its going to live in your shed

And its pointless tool. Than you laying bricks you use rope which is near your brick or else you will lay it wrong. Next these bricks are waste of time and money, for normal houses nobody uses these, we use now brick side of 10-15 i could say of these bricks. Simply you lay one brick i lay 20 in one simple go. As my brick is the size of 15 bricks of yours, weight is normal, strengh is beyond your bricks can handle. Next this tool is big and bulky and if you reach corner you cant use it= trash work. Also nobody is using anymore a cement mix. everyone is using glue. I live in east Europe here buildings are all from bricks, real bricks not fake ones where you build a house from chopstics and make some fake wall from bricks which doesnt hold anything. And yes we have tornadoes also same as in usa, and all buildings standing no problem only those who made from chopstics fly away, yes some people build those here too. forget about this dumb tool

Brick mortar requires compactions to carry the load properly in load bearing walls. IMO, the only way to achieve that is by laying extra mortars and pressing the brick on them. The tool in this video is only suitable for non-load bearing walls and DIY projects. It's definitely not for the professional.
