"This is how horror films begin."
ОтветитьLooked like a B-52 flying by in Boron.
ОтветитьB-52 bomber.
ОтветитьI TOO HAD THE DISPLESURE OF RIDING THIS COASTER. IT WAS A VERY BRUTIL RIDE. BEAT ME SEVERLY. WOULD NEVER RIDE IT AGAIN.
ОтветитьBe fun to swing a metal detector around some. of these places.
ОтветитьLove the video just wanna say I was born and raised in boron CA and it’s not that great of a town
ОтветитьI remember riding this coaster its was great
ОтветитьThe last Air Force Base is 9 miles to the west called Edwards Air Force Base where Chuck Yeager broke the speed of sound the first man to ever do it you were way off of your information, you should talked to us , we would told you all of the historical fact’s.thanks BigAl California
ОтветитьIt’s Bo-R- On it’s a byproduct of borax you are within 3 miles of the world’s largest open pit Borax mine thank I’ve lived here my whole life thanks buddy BigAl California
ОтветитьBro whenever you shoot from inside car .... please roll down windows .... because footage is always out of focus
ОтветитьWhere did he find this town
ОтветитьI lived in Bishop from 1940-1950
ОтветитьKnock knock knock I'm home
Ответитьthats a B52 bomber over head!
ОтветитьDonkeys don’t eat carrots stupid….wabbits do.
ОтветитьWhy can’t such places be revived!!! Government & systems must join hands to convert the negative systems with positive results 🌺🙏👍
ОтветитьI've had dreams over the years about the kelso depot the trees and everything else is correct.I know it sounds weird but it means something to me
ОтветитьThat could be the phone and store used in that charlie xcx video.maybe
ОтветитьALLL OF IT JUNK.....BULLDOZE IT ALLL AWAY.... WASTE OF FILM....
ОтветитьSalton sea was a place I lived
ОтветитьIt’s Mojave, without the “h” west of the Colorado River.
ОтветитьBuffalo Bill's roller coaster was fun.
My wife and I stopped there, on a Monday morning...Hungover, from being at a Jimmy Buffett margaritaville concert and party in Vegas.
We were the only people there, accept for the "janitor" who launched us on the coaster.
Probably not the best idea...but...what could possibly go wrong???
2 minutes later, we were stone cold sober, and exhilarated.
Enjoyed our sober breakfast, and headed out.
Thanks to Buffalo Bills.😂😂
my favorite part is the donkeys
Ответитьvery cool
ОтветитьIt's Mojave. Born & raised in the middle of said desert.
ОтветитьSir, I was born in Boron in 1958. I visited my hometown in 2015 and found that our house had been torn down and a new one was built in its place. Your video brought back fond memories of long ago. I want to thank you for doing this video and I appreciate your efforts.
ОтветитьThat’s a bummer all the rides are closed now. I had some good memories as a kid, my parents use to stop once in awhile when we were coming home from Vegas and we would go on the rides while my dad gambled one last time before going back to California.
ОтветитьLike a pen pal?
ОтветитьBuffalo Bill Casino aka "Bison Steve" in FONV. I had no idea that was modeled from a real location.
ОтветитьI like The Broken Down Yugo in front of the abandoned gas station. nice touch 👍
ОтветитьThe Bun Boy restaurant used to be the must stop and have breakfast place.
ОтветитьUsed to go to Cima for work. The store was open a couple of days. If you take the road back to the interstate from Seema there's a gas station with the biggest Ravens I have ever seen. Just like the birds in Hitchcock they hang around on the gas pumps and look you in the eye. First time I ever had a bird tell me I was not from around here.
ОтветитьI would like to visit this place
ОтветитьLove these abandoned town exploration videos. I believe the "broken power lines" are actually old railroad telegraph lines. No way you'd see insulators that short on power transmission lines. Cool stuff!
ОтветитьI went to high school in Baker in the 70s. My parents managed a couple of the motels there.
ОтветитьOmg Boron is where my husband grew up and then I was born and raised in Ridgecrest. Erin Brockovich was filmed out there somewhere, and plenty of things were filmed in red rock canyon and the pinnacles in Trona if you ever go out that way!
ОтветитьRun away as fast as you can.
ОтветитьWhy did they close down?
ОтветитьMeth capital of CA. I couldn’t wait to leave.
ОтветитьThank you for the spontaneous day trip through post-apocalypse California.
ОтветитьI am glad we got to go there when the rides were open they were fun to take our kids to.
Ответить*Mojave
ОтветитьYou can tell he's a Cali boy... "The 15" :)
ОтветитьHaving visited Kelso on a trip from the UK found the Depot a fascinating place. Mind you, given half a chance I'd put my roots down in a local populated town or city... love the entire area and it's history / geology. Love these videos of your adventures, so miss the USA even with it's problems, which we have here too... The peace and quite is what I loved most of all...The UK is small and over populated now as far as I am concerned.
ОтветитьYou missed the 20 Mule train Borax Museum, there in Boron! Borax is a laundry & cleaning powder. .Thanks for the road trip!
ОтветитьThat grocery store reminds me of terminator 2 when Sarah goes to get arms.
