Starliner might explode if it's test fired while docked. Very bad idea. Starliner needs to undock with no one on board. End of discussion.
ОтветитьAfter being in the FAA for over 30 years I have come to a point wherein I do not believe much of ANYTHING that the federal government tells me. Fish on Mars/Living on Mars how absolutely DUMB!
ОтветитьThey are waiting for SpaceX engineers to go up and fix it.
ОтветитьToo bad Stanley Kubrick isn't around to fix the Boeing.
ОтветитьGrowing plants in a FISH TANK doesn't need large amounts of water??? I think the fish may not agree- plus there is the whole temperature thing (Mars=COLD), and LIGHT- plants need bunches of that... this whole system would be an electricity HOG
ОтветитьI believe Stich needs to step down from NASA! The Boeing Space craft is a failure and covering up for Boeing may put astronauts at risk!
ОтветитьB. S.
ОтветитьOh isn’t this the method used by the method the Maya used?
Had that thought when I first learned about it. Very clever!
Is this MX737 no maybe not, let's check it out, it isn't Star liner, it's MX737.
ОтветитьThe Martian regolith isn't just "short" of nutrients (=completely lacking nutrients!), it's also very poisonous. Nothing will grow in it, with or without nutrients.
Farming IS (theoretically) possible on Mars, but it will not be using Martian soil. Apart from that inconvenient problem, there is also the minor matters of the extreme cold, the VERY low atmospheric pressure, much less sunlight than on Earth, AND much lower gravity (we have no real idea what impact this is going to have on plants that have evolved in 1G). Oh, and there's also the minor matter of the extreme radiation, due to the lack of a protective planetary magnetic field.
Basically, the only way to grow food on Mars will be underground, with artificial light, and probably using hydroponics. In other words, extremely energy and technology dependent - if something fails, everything (and everyone) dies pretty quickly. Bearing in mind also, that the only way for humans to survive on Mars (assuming we can live long-duration - not to mention, breed - in such low gravity) is also to live underground, and also be totally dependent on technology that will kill us quickly if it breaks down, then one wonders what the hell the point of it all is.
We won't be living on Mars, we'll be (hopefully) just surviving in a hole in the ground. And at a cost that is so huge that even all the rich nations on Earth together couldn't afford it.
Mars is never going to be Earth 2.0, there is only one Earth - which we are currently (and rapidly) making uninhabitable. Let's spend a fraction of that money on rescuing Earth 1.0 instead of wasting time and money dreaming impossible dreams.
Boeing, unsafe at any speed.
ОтветитьI'm curious about the plan to destroy the ISS. Have any of our "International" partners been involved with this decision?
ОтветитьNASA 🤥
ОтветитьWe are all going to die. This retired military service member just does want to do it under the Biden/ Harris regime
ОтветитьSo there're not stuck, they just cant come back untill the peoblems fixed. Seems covenant. Like how the whistleblowers keep dying of natural causes.
ОтветитьI'd rather have Elon land the space station. LOL
ОтветитьSo the REAL problem with Starliner isn't that the thrusters don't fire but that they don't know why they don't fire. Yet they can still jump ship anytime they want.
ОтветитьWhen large American companies begin to sell smoke with these advertising lies, my reflection is that I would not want to be in the shoes of those astronauts.
I wish you the best of luck.
So they’re stranded in space. Got it.
Ответить"Not stranded " now SpaceX is going to take them down. To all subscribers: are you sure this channel is worth subscribing?
ОтветитьIn the old days everyone say "If not Boeing, I'm not going". But today for space. "If not SpaceX, I'm not going".
ОтветитьIts' a test flight; how many times have we seen a spacecraft have teething issues during its' maiden crewed flight?
That said, SpaceX and Blue Origin (to a lesser extent) have to be crowing over the problems of legacy space company Boeing.
The vehicle is not stuck in space, but it is unsafe for human return.
ОтветитьThese bugs should have been fixed before Starliner launched!
ОтветитьColonizing mars will be extremely difficult. Keeping humans safe on Mars might be impossible.
ОтветитьHOPE THEY CHANGE THERE MINDS ON THE ISS be nice to see the ISS modules else where like around the moon etc
ОтветитьThis sounds like total fuckin bullshit lol. Even if we do colonize space, it won't be US. Or any of you fuckin nerds. It'll be bezos and Fuckerberg
ОтветитьThis Channel Blows
ОтветитьBoeing cries about people questioning thier Capabilities in Space? Then try harder instead of focusing on eating up Government Contracts for Money dumba** and also murdering Whistleblowers in cold blood? That makes me lose trust and tbh Boeing should be pulled away from any cooperation with NASA.
ОтветитьSo they are not coming home anytime soon 😮🤔
Ответитьthe will die soon the capsule has to much issues only elon can bring them home
ОтветитьHas DEI got anything to do with all this mishegaas? Just askin'.
ОтветитьTake Kudzu to mars, stick it in the soil, toss some water on it. Wait a few months. Terraformed.
Ответить"It's probably somewhere closer to the end of July." ... and here we are in early August. I sure hope that the astronauts have enough food & water.
ОтветитьWell, it is now August in case Boeing hasn't noticed !
ОтветитьStarlinger or Stuckliner?
ОтветитьNo martian colonization without much faster space travel or very advanced robots that can build everything we need there before humans even land.
ОтветитьWell it's a month later. They are still not stranded. They are not home. They are on the ISS. There is no plan to get them home. The Starliner is still not fit for purpose, but is still not space junk. They may, emphasis on may, be home in February on SpaceX. I am glad they are safe and someone competent might get them back safely. BUT DO NOT USE THE STARLINER - DON'T GO THE WAY OF THE SPACE SHUTTLE CREWS!
Ответитьstuck ? NASA SP287 " WHAT MADE APOLLO A SUCCESS ??? "
" of course , the way we got this job done was with meeting , big meetings , little meeting hundreds of meetings !
" the thing we always tried to do in these meetings was to encourage every one no matter how (( shy )) to speak out !!! " hopefully ( but not always ) without being subjected to (( ridicule )) ???
indian street food engineers mess up. Going cheap eh nasa🙄🙄🙄
ОтветитьIt is now mid August and the astronauts are not back on Earth yet!!!!!!!
ОтветитьIs mangement
ОтветитьBoeing should be ashamed. NASA has giving them a very long rope...
ОтветитьThey ARE stranded. As of 24 Aug. 2024 NASA will keep Sunita & Barry there through Feb. 2025. Seriously not cool, given major health risks of microgravity environment.
ОтветитьYep rockwell international built the space shuttles
ОтветитьIt cost 62 million dollars to launch a space x rocket not 200 million dollars
ОтветитьSo... starliner came back without the astronauts... but they're not stuck in space...🤔
ОтветитьProblem with rockets radation is changing time circuits
In 90s they got rid of lead that help reduce the issue's
Only way fix that is radation shielding and changing gps satellites
Wires for with military and space vehicles for em shielding is over 1k per foot if govt allow you have it
That was before cov
They having huge issues cause they took lead out of solder
Should coloniz the moon first
