I wonder if it's possible to transform into an extinct animal? 🤔I could definitely see Voldemort becoming a snake-like dinosaur.
ОтветитьI guess i always just assumed that their animagus form was the same as their patronus. So for anyone who could produce a patronus charm it wouldnt be a suprise.
ОтветитьIf the animagus form reflects ones true self (i.e. the soul), perhaps it is simply not possible for someone whose soul is fractured
Ответитьhe undeniably turned into a moth
Ответитьa dragon animangus would be tops.
ОтветитьTom wasn't a woke furry thats all
ОтветитьA chicken. Not really the reptile he'd have wanted. Or a water bear, which is immortal, I believe.
ОтветитьWhat if he turned into a cockroach?
ОтветитьI think that Voldemort would be a bear aka brutish, unpredictable, and feared. For him, however, he'd likely hate it's unseemly and less fluid form compared to a serpent. Lol
ОтветитьSo despite Tom being powerful, he’s nowhere as impressive as Beast Wars Megatron
ОтветитьNagini may have been Voldemort's animal form and using her as a horcrux split her from him and made it so he couldn't transform anymore.
ОтветитьVoldemort would have been a snake, but a very tiny one.
ОтветитьI think you just can't became an animagus if your soul is incomplete.
ОтветитьI think a lot of wizards just never register they can transform. It takes away some of the power of the form when you do. If every wizard knows u can turn into a cat it's harder to escape as one. As for voldermort, I think if he tried it may have been a bat but I also think splitting his soul may have changed his soul like it did his human body or made transforming dangerous to his soul, maybe cracking it further. Most likely though he just never tried as voldermort did not seem like a guy interested in hiding unless he had no other option and I'm not sure he could comprehend the possabillity that he might of had to pre baby Harry and by then it may of been to dangerous.
ОтветитьI feel like Voldemort would have been a snake animagus. It sounds a little too simplistic, but when I think about it that's all I can picture. He's the heir of Slytherin, a parcelmouth, and he looks rather snakish when he comes back in the goblet of fire. Perhaps he would have thought it was a bit cliche and just binned it. I don't know.
ОтветитьNot a chance would Voldemort would lower himself no matter how practical the solution was! Never!
ОтветитьHe made Nagini a horcrux, i.e. he put a part of his soul inside an animal that's in my view similar to turning into an animal, partially but permanently.
ОтветитьJoined YT today and the first video at my timeline is from HP Universe. Is Ministry of Google tracking me?? 🧐
ОтветитьHe'll have a monstrous form like a chimera
ОтветитьThe channel 'Newstime' stole this video and others with the same Titel But different voice and thumbnail. Just fyi
ОтветитьRita Skeeter had the most bad a$$ form of the ones we know of. A burglar, spy, assassin, etc turning into a bug could infiltrate any place hitching a ride on someone's clothes. An Auror could stake out any location. Anyone could seemingly disappear and if they wanted get the drop on whoever. Keep the ability secret and no one would see it coming. Good thing Rita wasn't ambitious in other ways.
ОтветитьAnimagus - Super hard to do. Lots of time, resources, and mastery of 2 different magics.
Yet 4 teenagers did it. Lol.
The rules for some of these spells/potions/abilities are absurd. Rofl.
Like... unless there was some codified ancient magic that outlined the process, nobody, even mages in this world, would ever consider these steps. Lol.
I'm not trying to fully apply logic here. That's also absurd.
But goodness gracious do some of these even challenge what would be my in universe logic.
How cool would an adult auror Harry Potter take on a new villian that was an animagus that transformed into a crazy magical beast and the villian had a partner that could transform into a centaur and was a true seer and they infiltrate the centaur community and create this massive centaurian army to overthrow the wizarding world?!
ОтветитьI had the very same theories - Ego, Narcissism, Inability To Either Face Or Accept His Deep-Seated Insecurity...
A subject that could be an Incredibly deep rabbit hole! My guess is his Animagus form would be a Lamprey.
Could failing to become a full animagus cause you to become a maledictus?
ОтветитьI think he was turned in to snake and nigie help him in the forest
ОтветитьIt is said in the books that James and Sirius CHOSE powerful beasts as their transformation, to be able to keep a werewolf in check and Pettigrew a tiny form, to be able to touch the bark of the Whomping Willow and freeze it. They CHOSE, so it's not random. I think Voldemort simply saw no reason to try.
ОтветитьI don't think he learned because he would consider it a waste of his time.
ОтветитьI wonder how many wizards trapped in their animal form were eaten. Especially when becoming stag or something. What if they mated with real animals and had offspring? What if they unknowingly mated with other shapeshifted wizards and had offspring?
ОтветитьIsn't his animagus form a snake? In book seven, when he gets in the cell is grindelwald he does so in the form of a snake. I always thought that it was his animagus form 🤔
Ответить100% certain Voldy's animagus was a cockroach 🪳
ОтветитьAfter hearing the full walk through process, how much commitment, and ultimately the amount of luck to become an animagus, you start to understand how much James "Prongs" Potter, Sirius "Padfoot" Black, and Peter "Wormtail" Pettigrew cherished their friendship with Lupin. They were willing to die or be trapped in an animal form for the rest of their lives to spend time with their friend who was suffering from Lycrathopy.
Also, keep in mind they did this BETWEEN THE AGES OF 10-17.
Ok I just found this channel, WHERE have you been all my life! <3
ОтветитьYeah... why perfect shapeshifting if you can have your minions do it for you. Especially if he sees himself and wizards as the "Crown of Creation". However...Voldy would make a great dung beetle...sorry, Golden Scarab.
ОтветитьIn my opinion, Voldemort reflects extreme cowardness as well, refusing to be seen lesser or being afraid of death. I could see that all of his power were big coping mechanisms for relevancy, but maybe his animagus reflected something cowardly and small, like a duckling or chick or something lmao
ОтветитьAnother theory: the answer lies in the process of becoming an Animagus. You need to add one of your own hairs to the mandrake leaf potion. By the time Voldemort got around to considering becoming an Animagus, he no longer had any hairs to add to the potion.
ОтветитьConsidering that the majority of animagi that appear or are mentioned in the books are unregistered ones, it wouldn't be surprising that the actual number is much higher than it seems, but people who get the ability just don't register so they can use it more freely.
ОтветитьVoldemort was definitely a cockroach
Ответитьa lot more than 7 Herminie XD
ОтветитьWhat if he did succeed in trying it, but didn’t succeed in finishing it and that’s why he was he does now? What if he was only a partial transformation and he stuck with it that’s why he looks a bit like a snake?
ОтветитьMy new head canon now is that Mrs. Norris is actually Filch’s previous wife/lover who got stuck in animal form, knowing she’s trapped like that sapped his ability to perform magic, and now he’s a squib
Ответитьbecause he was lazy mate lol😂
ОтветитьI'd imagine that Voldemort would find it demeaning to need to turn into an animal, which in his mind would mean becoming a creature beneath himself.
ОтветитьThis question was new to me.
I had assumed that Animagi were born with it (I had thought this of Tonks) and that those who were not, like three of the Marauders, could accomplish it by spell if they wished.
Now that you have corrected that misunderstanding, I imagine that unless Voldy's form was a fire breathing dragon that he would not risk the vulnerability.
Thank you for another great video.
Amazing
ОтветитьHe was a sweetheart in heart and became a butterfly. Thats why
ОтветитьThe risk of becoming an animagus can't be that big if 3 out of 3 people who we know have tried were successful. By that I mean, if it's much worse than a 50-50 chance then 3 friends trying and being successful would be quite a stretch.
And from putting limits on the chance of failure you should be able to guess how many wizards who were unsuccessful are now running around stuck in animal form.
Of course we can not now how many unregistered animagi are out there, but if the vast majority of them is unregistered, that would first of all makes the mandatory registration a joke and second, that would make animagi not being rare at all.
Speaking of Mrs. Norris, I've always thought there would've been some practical reason how and why Crookshanks was highly intelligent as well. Maybe another Animagus adopted by Hermione? Remember in the book it was orange furball which tapped the Whomping Willow by the specific spot (tree knot?) to immobilize it long enough for everyone to enter the hidden passageway. I would remark on the cat continuously staring at people who talked as if he was actually listening but.... that's just real life cat behavior.
ОтветитьVoldemort's most defining characteristics was this: His existence itself was unnatural, born of intercourse undertook under effect of magical brainwashing (love potion), and as a result of this he truly felt no affection whatsoever. He was incapable. So if the animagus form depends on one's deeper character, well...I'd vouch for duck (the males are so rapey the females evolved maze-like vaginas to decrease forced pregnancies)...Or mule (born of a donkey mating a horse; infertile). So...Yeah, he wouldn't like his form.
