Great Tutorial Jaizella!! Now I know how to color the texture paste and even the modeling paste! I have alcohol inks that just sit there..tfs..Hugs, Becky

Ответитьgreat idea hugs Sara
Ответитьawesome, Thanks for the tutorial. hugs Luisa
ОтветитьGreat tutorial Jaizella. If you want your sand a little finer Jaizella, you can always use a pestle and mortar to grind it up a little more. And if you don't have a pestle and mortar, add a small amount of sand into a ziplock/sandwich bag, add a bit of kitchen roll over the bag and use a stone or marble rolling pin to grind the sand in the bag. Hope that helps. Lee x
ОтветитьFun tut! Great ideas! Thanx for the shoutout! Yah I find I like the fine grain sand the best too, but the coarse grain needs to be pulled out for that special project...for sure! Great ideas with the colors! I, of course just use colored paint...never thought about the Timmy inks...duh!!! And not even...did I think to use my modeling paste! Weird, huh? My brain was on one track! LOL. Hugsies!!!
Ответитьgreat tutorial
ОтветитьThanks for the fun tutorial and I love the idea of the colored pastes!! TFS
ОтветитьLove this. Cant wait to try it out on a project sometime.!
ОтветитьSo glad to know about the ability to color with the alcohol inks! I have been using the Golden Fiber paste and like that really well. It is thick & chunky and more textural than the regular modeling paste, which is what I wanted. I have also used the bead texture paste which actually dries clear. I'll have to try the color in that for another new effect. TFS!!!
ОтветитьAnother trick in my bag, thanks so much! :) xoxo Jen
ОтветитьGreat tutorial - TFS Hugs, Lourdes
ОтветитьThanks for sharing that Charlotte...I'll have to give that a try. I've tried the regular Golden but maybe Ill give the fiber paste a try next time =) There are so many cool textures at the store I never get a chance to try them out because of the expense. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThanks for the tip Lee! much appreciated =) Ill have to give that a try since I have no room to store a variety of sands lol
ОтветитьThanks for the tip!!
ОтветитьHehe yeah snow tex is great too!
ОтветитьOhh great tip thanks!
ОтветитьAwesome!! Yeah I love finding new uses for things =) I find myself wanting to get more alcohol inks now to color my pastes and white paint to customize the colors!! Thanks for watching =) Big hugs!
ОтветитьThank you and you're welcome- I appreciate you sharing your idea about sand! There are so many tutorials I watch and think, "Now why on earth didn't I think of that?" so I understand! I love my colored paints but to save room and use up what I've got I am going to use the distress inks and alcohol inks to color my pastes and white paint until I use em up! Thanks for watching =) Big hugs.
ОтветитьThe expense!! Got a couple of jars for my granddaughter's BDay. She picked them and shared some with me Later, I figured I could get one jar just for me in a texture I wanted to try That is how I came to know what these three are like. If you like, I could send you a dab of each to try for yourself and see what you like. Maybe you could compare them to your home made textures in a video. Let me know... I'd be happy to pop them in the mail and see what you think!!
ОтветитьI am sooo new lol new subbie too lol but this looks sooo interesting I have a wooden drawer box that is plain wood but I wanted to to something cool to it and this texture thing looks cool thank you

ОтветитьHehe yeah sometimes I try things right away and sometimes I never too! I tried adding texture to beach layouts a few years back so when the modeling paste was getting popular I was all over it! Def give it a try with your stencils ... It's a lot of fun to work with.
ОтветитьThank you Natasha :)
ОтветитьYou are very welcome. It should work the same with homemade paste :) Tfw!
ОтветитьThank you for the information, I would never of thought of using color. tfs Hugs Terrie
ОтветитьThank you terrie! I am glad it was helpful info =)
