This is a real player. This is how real bands used to be. If you wanted to hear a song and they didn't know, wait till after their first smoke break, and they will usually come back and slay that shit.
Ive seen so much wasted extreme talent in bar bands. Some of the best players are at bars, if you know where to look

As Gen X I have had plenty to say about Millennials and Gen Z, but I want to say one of the (several) things I DO admire about Millennials and Gen Z: they are way into sampling music of all types, all years, all varieties, than my generation was.

This guy radically overplays right over the singer. Probably why he’s not in a band.

She has a really good voice and I believe she should push a little more as she would stop herself when I feel she could have gone to another level. I understand this is on a street corner and not an audition. Many singers do that and never reach their potential. I doubt she was at her limit as she was spot on to the moment she stopped herself each time. I would rather hear her voice crack or go off pitch and hear her let it go. I bet she is even better than this and she is already very good if not excellent.
