Love the french tips with stones

I've always had my nail techs put either cuticle oil or possibly cuticle remover at the beginning stages of prepping my nails and then having me wash my hands before starting to glue on the tips. So is that so they're going to pop off sooner than later, so I'm going to constantly having to come in to get replacement nails before fill in time? If so that's shady?!?! I mean I've had some places stay and remain awesome for long periods of time and other not so much. I just thought it was from the quality of the materials not from being a total skeeze?!...
