I am an absolute newbe and I also did a 900.000+ score with the 747 in Sydney lol. What does that mean? :D
ОтветитьLoud and clear.
Ответить* Please note: this landing challenge is not open to employees of Microsoft or their families, or people who land aeroplanes for real
ОтветитьI guess 737 pilots are getting kind of bored and without much to do these times...
ОтветитьIm not a pilot but the Funchal landing seemed realistic. Went there for summer vacation and the pilot had to try landing 3 times. Sometimes they just dont land there and fly to another island nearby and try landing another day.
ОтветитьHaha, seems like everybody is missing the Honduras airport on the first try. Makes me feel a little better even though I need to train a lot.
Btw, that TO/GA thing on the Airbus - don't let the speed fall into the amber squares. It first says "A-Level" as a warning before it kicks in TO/GA. You can't land it below 140 kts
For someone who has never played a flight sim and has little knowledge about flying a plane (except flying in games), how easy/hard is this sim?
Ответитьenjoyed video..good sense of humor!
Ответитьthinking
If only I could get rid of the plane sound...
Oh wait... RTX Voice :DDD
Why have the "stream starting x minutes" at the beginning? You know you can just start the video when it actually... Y'know... Starts?
ОтветитьSoundtrack is straight fire
Ответитьso basicly you can land, take-off or fly in autopilot. quite boring :D
ОтветитьI don't actually play so I didn't know about the F2 hotkey
Ответитьmy graphics card is below the limit and it still looks good only lags the first 30 seconds
Ответитьbrace yourselves people with no flying experience are coming to judge
Ответить!pc
ОтветитьThe landings were so smooth. clap clap
ОтветитьFawteeeeentffff uvvv ahwwwwwguuuuusst
Ответить31st in the world for Nanwalek earlier this week - that was a fun one
ОтветитьIn order to do reverse thrust you need to access the options tab and switch the "assigned" to "all" option in order to access the throttle configuration
ОтветитьAirbus loves calling the pilots retards
ОтветитьCan't wait for the Jonestown DLC complete with bodies on the runway and everything.
ОтветитьThe JFK one is so tough. Beast of a plane that is.
Ответитьwait, is this dude popping off world records (or almost world records) the first time he tries these landings? I guess he learned something in those 10,000 hrs :P
ОтветитьHow do you know you descending at 1000 ft per minute? is it a mental calculation?
ОтветитьWhat do you mean by no go around options on some of those tougher airstrips? If there was an emergency you literally would be incapable of pulling out to try again if weather and fuel was adequate?
ОтветитьReverse thrust is bringing negative thrust engine speed button to 0, and clicking the negative thrust engine speed button again starts reverse thrust.
Ответитьwaiting for PMDG aircraft to drop into FS2020
ОтветитьI managed Couchevel. Don’t ask how. But my Cessna actually touched down and didn’t crash into the mountain.
Now it’s time to actually learn the basics of this sim lol.
Oh and I flew over DisneyWorld at night. It was so much fun seeing Hollywood Studios and the globe at EPCOT. I didn’t find Magic Kingdom but I’ll keep trying for that one until I fly by Mickey and we take a picture together on the Photopass 😂
I like the representation in the Cessnas of the surroundings and an idea of the runways position. I miss the guiding lines in the Boeing and Airbus. I don’t even know where I am most of the time! DisneyWorld was an actual pointing my route which made me find it but otherwise? No idea. Can’t find my own city, there is no map and that’s too bad.
I notice that you often adjust the cockpit view into the higher seat mode. I'm assuming for better visibility. Is this positioning a more accurate representation of what a real pilot's view would be (as opposed to the default seat positioning)?
ОтветитьI imagined it like you were asking your passengers "hey do you guys know what the approach speed is for this airport?"
ОтветитьThis isn't live
ОтветитьTried Saba today and, being the noob I am, did not realize that you're supposed to reverse trust (and actually had only realized the plane had reverse trust by accident), so even in the rare event that I actually did manage to be in the right spot, I just drove by and into the abyss.
Then again, when I did land it, I immediately got rank 4000 :D
You were flying a Llama Airbus?
ОтветитьGood morning, this is your captain speaking, hope you all feel good this morning, I'm a little tired having flown lots recently and last night I was up late playing computer games on the internet, but don't worry I've had lots of coffee I'm sure I'll be fine.....all the passengers find out that adrenaline is brown as they cruise through the blue!
Ответить35;15 marks one of the golden moments of the channel
ОтветитьI love the Airbus engine noises from the cockpit over Boeing. Airbus just has like this responsive whine that just sounds really good for some reason.
ОтветитьWho's here after the livestream lol
ОтветитьSuch an entertaining stream I've watched this a few times, I would to see you do it all again.
ОтветитьHAHAAH this was so fun to watch! 😂😂 love the constant laughter and your loathing of airbus 😂 Btw all our marker beacons were removed in Aus, weird that it was simulated on 16R at Sydney 🧐
ОтветитьIt doesn't always give the score...
ОтветитьHello Flight Deck 2 Sim. And thank's for your "Landing Challanging show" I found it pretty amazing how easily you could jump from one airplane to the next one and to see that you never used any aids like the LD or VOR settings, just speed and basically manually deceleration. Well I guess you're Pro after all But a nice job! And I will learn a lot by watching how you do it. Take care
ОтветитьYour not a real 737 pilot, must be at least 21! But if you are a pilot, do i get paid more for the plane airline or the travel. I wanna be a a320 pilot
ОтветитьBrilliant...........
