My favourite resort is art of animation

We stayed there 2 trips ago and thought it was very nice, probably the nicest moderate. We're trying Coronado Springs next June. P.S. - I love having a ceiling fan in my room.

loved disney we were down there at halloween time best time ever. love micky mouse's not so scary halloween party. Love it so much that my plans are when I retire I am planning on being a snow bird and working at Disney world around that same time. October to March, them I will come home here.

I stayed at river side, very nice but I didn't like that the rooms aren't in one building, but in small ones scattered around

They should make a NYC-themed resort, with a shopping/entertainment area made to look like Times Square. Complete with ethnic food carts.

We stayed at Port Orleans last year and had the best two weeks of our lives. It was a holiday getting over the death of both my wife & I 's mothers from cancer and the staff and venue were awesome for us. It was peaceful and relaxing if you needed it to be or just a big bag of fun and laughter with Ye haa Bob leading the way in laughter and top class entertainment. Obviously the magic and love you find in the parks has found its unique way to make this resort brilliant for whatever your needs may be.

I love both resorts!!! The first time we stayed on property, my mom and I stayed at POFQ! But our favorite resort is POR!!! Riverside is our "home away from home"!

Port orleans riverside  was awesome

Port Orleans Riverside has been my favorite resort so far.  In fact we've stayed there twice because we love it so much.  Of course it's the only one we've ever stayed at, though.  We're trying the All-Stars Music resort this year, but will probably do Riverside again in the future.  lol

If you were to stay at french quarter can you go to the water parks and restaurants in riverside or vise versa? Or can you only go to the ones in the one you stay in?

My wife and I were married in November but since she is a teacher, we cannot take our honeymoon until the summer. This August we will be going to Disney World for our honeymoon and staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. We are super excited for it!

We stayed at French Quarter the week before Thanksgiving and it was terrific. We had been at POP Century in March and thought FQ was much nicer.

Please do Saratoga springs next

Riverside is actually my LEAST favorite of all of the moderate resorts. I have stayed at every resort on property, except for the DVC units. I had filthy rooms with broken light fixtures, bare screws hanging out of the dresser where the knobs should be, stained bedding, moldy tub and tile, and every light bulb but one was broken.
I also don't like the fact that the resort is so large. I have stayed there 3 times, but the only way I would return is to try one of the Royal rooms.
On the other hand, the French Quarter resort is my favorite moderate!

Love French Quarter. Staying there again in December and taking my best friend for his and his wife's first trip ever to Disney World. I think this resort is perfect for adults, without having to pay Deluxe Prices.

Really good timing on your part to post this now. I'm SO looking forward to staying here for the first time in December. In all my Disney trips, I've never stayed at this resort. Given all the amazing reviews and recommendations of the place, I have no doubt that it will be a spectacular stay as I've always experienced before. I'm so glad I live in a world that has Disney in it. :)

I preferred the old name, Dixie landings. How come they changed it?
