You give us some tips and show us around with the settings.I am having a hard time deciding which camera I should get between this one and the Insta360 X4 for my upcoming trip to Thailand. I am in a wheelchair, and I cannot use my hands properly, so I think I would basically do everything from my smartphone. Do you know if all the settings can be changed using the mobile app?

Duuuudee...its so funny you mention to keep your EV value at -0.3 because when I first got it (LOL like 2 weeks ago), I was trying to find where I should always keep my exposure and i found myself just through using it, no one telling me this...that -0.3 was the PERFECT exposure to keep this at. The shots are just incredible

I'm not hating this great video, but there seems to be a slight motion distortion or flutter on all of the YT footage I have seen on this camera. I mean, the stabilization looks incredible, but I'm not fully sold on the video quality when compared to a Lumix mirrorless or Gopro.

Hi, I have a question about the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. Why does the file size of a video change during transfers? For example, a video file may show as 500 MB in the Mimo app, increase to 510 MB after being downloaded to a phone, and then decrease to 180 MB when transferred to a computer. Similarly, why does a file that starts at 500 MB decrease to only 100 MB when AirDropped from the Mimo app or a mobile device to a system? What causes these size changes?

do you need to change ev if you have nd filter?

I completely agree with you on the VND filters. I have trouble seeing things up close and that little tick mark was impossible for me to see. I bought the Pocket 3 for a “simple, easy to use” camera. The VND takes that away. I did buy the DJI ND filters, but most of the time I just put the Pocket 3 in auto and just film. I still love my Sony a7cii, but the Pocket 3 definitely comes in handy at times.

Not thing I struggle with is 60fps in the UK has super bad flickering, even with anti flicker on. I shoot 4k 50fps but I’m struggling to get it as smooth as 60! Any suggestions? 😄

What’s your main camera?

I use one for constant recording while out in duo with my Nikon Z8 i use for very high quality footage or more distant one. Everything is covered this way.
Lightweight very high quality setup that work in seconds over the pain in the ass the others sytems can be wich i used before while traveling.
Put a tilta/movemax on the pocket 3 like i did for mine and you have something that can do everything almost everywhere. Mine worked superb in the french alps.

K&F I recently purchased the 1-5 and 5-9 and they have hard stops and minimal vignetting - you must have purchased an early release or a damaged version

It is NOT an appropriate travel camera. You can't use it at the beach (sand) or in even the lightest of rain. In great weather, no problem.

Saw this cinematic footage and was mesmerized. I'm an owner of an A6700 and was thinking of getting the OP3 for it's convinience. I was wondering if you think the OP3 is capable enough for travel cinematic footage instead of bringing the A6700 + 3 lenses + Gimbal.

I have one question, would you mind helping me? I just bought this new Osmo Pocket 3 from B&H. I have tested with two resolution 4K60 and 2.7K60 results are very disappointed. The video does not run smooth. It runs for about 2, 3 seconds then suddenly it speeds up for 1 second, then it runs normal again, then few seconds after it speeds up again. It is something like you are walking normal for few seconds then you run for few seconds, then you walk normal again, it repeats again and again. How can I fix it? What did I miss? Thanks a lot for your help.

Do you mind if i ask, perhaps can share some tips with me, since i am also using DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to film some footages, especially those footages with sunlight. However, what i noticed is the difference in colour, this video for example, the colours are so nicely captured (or is this the result from video editing) or captured from the DJI pocket 3 camera, and all i need to do is follow your settings exactly? Hope an amateur like myself can get some tips from you. Thanks.

no they dont come with the combo. the neewers work fine.

and i put it in the case with the magnetic case on it and extended battery clip that came with the creator combo

that magnetic mount is fire!!!
