Restoration of a Very Rare Axe - You Have Never Seen Such An Ax !

That has got to be the most haphazard restoration I’ve ever seen. The best part is using live green wood for a handle. It’s gonna last about 2 weeks. I am now dumber for watching this. Thanks.

Funny those zig zag cuts don't look as old as the rest

Not that old, the two "blades" looked like they were welded on, at least the gusseting was weld! and the teeth were cut with an oxy torch? But an oddity none the less.

That's a pick that someone cut the points off of and welded some 1/2 plate onto !

That handle would most likely spit as the wood dries. I was surprised that you used "green" wood instead of seasoned wood. looks good even still.

The wood in the handle is pretty but not practical. You need sweetgum or hickory. Unbreakable.

I'm sorry to admit that i was dumb enough to watch this RARE AXE VIDEO . Very bad attempt to connives us all about the axe's authenticity . I don't believe it , sorry guys but congrats at making me waste my and watch your video..
