Should put a caption for new DS II players that if they kill Maughlin 2 mins into the playthrough they won’t be able to purchase boss armor sets until NG+... that might be kinda important to some to be left completely unaddressed. Or just say optional or something.

Great video. Most my builds devolve into a dark build by the time I get to the dlc’s. A lot of these strats I do too.

My only discrepancy is the endless jump, cuts and doing things technically off screen if this is a guide How much post to follow you if you’re leveling up, going down new paths and upgrading off screen This isn’t hate I just dislike that one aspect of the video other than that it’s perfect

i know this is a bit too late, but this is a very good video for hex based builds. one thing i find weird about ds2 is that they introduced hex magic but is very difficult to access early on the game. i mean there are a lot of stuff you have to do which may prove difficult for new dark souls players. thanks for this walkthrough though, make it seem like a walk in the park.

also, how do you confront enemies which have high dark resistances?
