Well hi cuz!!! The hubby and I just bought a roof top tent for our truck and your video popped up on my feed! I think I blew my husband’s eardrum shouting, haha…he was sitting right next to me😂. Loved the video, I’ve seen a lot of “a day camping with me” and none are as honest as this. Hope all is going wonderful for you!! ❤

GPS is a MUST! And wear it on your body... not in a backpack that can fall over a cliff. A young lady just went missing in AZ a few weeks ago. They found her car with 2 flat tires. If she had a GPS, she could have gotten help asap, even if there was no cell service in the area. Instead, she left her car and vanished without a trace. Travelling solo can be fun and rewarding, just be SAFE first and foremost.

As a man I could pretty much care less if I saw a woman doing ANYTHING alone including camping!! THESE DAYS with all the "false allegations" women throw around, the last thing I would EVER want to do is talk to a woman, let alone be around most women anyhow either!! Especially IF I saw a woman camping alone at a campground!! YOU WOMEN HAVE DONE THIS TO YOURSELF, and I used to be a really nice, kind and caring type of man!! Even when I see women in Home Depot struggling, I don't waste ANY TIME "helping them" as I just slide on by them, never to give them a second glance or thought!!

Another thing too is, I have a very lovely and amazing girlfriend now, and she IS literally my everything!! So my low opinion of women, is even lower, now that I know I have this truly amazing person in my life, that has actually "been there for me" for the past 25 years now!! And while my girlfriend IS the most amazing person I have ever met.....sadly I can say, I have been with a lot of really poor quality women WHO HAVE made my life a living hell too before I met her!! SO with those past experiences why would I NEED the drama of a woman in my life who is only going to think of herself and NOBODY ELSE?? Answer is I don't, and I know what I have at home, and damn straight SHE is good to me!!!

Awesome video! I have a friend who sleeps with one ear plug (foamie) at night. Says it blocks out the little stuff but can hear if anything larger comes to visit.

2023 is the year of learning to camp alone. 2024 is the year to take on another solo road trip- this time camping half the time. I know I can travel for extended periods of time solo, but I'm wanting to take on nature- Thank you for sharing your insights.

As a woman I would NEVER camp alone or go running around in the woods alone. This is an EXTREMELY dangerous work we live in.

You can predators bears from entering your camp site with a portable electric bear fence. Small kit that brings huge peace of mind.

Most are out for the same reason you are and have no interest in harming others. That said, there is always the possibility of that one freak. Let’s be ready to greet the freak….personal alarm, bear spray, knife, gun, and most importantly, don’t f with me attitude.

I have to disagree if you are a woman, and you're willing to be alone miles from anywhere you need to be prepared. You need to be packing a gun and know how to use it. There are to many scumbags out there.
