The American pitches(Two paced, variable bounce difficulty in scoring off the pitch....) except for the outfield is the perfect pitch with proper difficulty level with teams with world class batters in an even battle with freak bowlers.. that's cricket.... But IPL crybabies only care about Flat pitches...
This world cup has been absolutely AWESOMEEEEE SO FARRRR..Cricket is not about sixes and fours it's about even contest and good fight between bat and ball .look at this world cup
1. Namibia vs Oman low scoring thriller with super over

2. West indies vs PNG .PNG took the match to the last over

3. USA beat Pakistan... in another super over match

4. Canada beat Ireland.. another down the wire match

5. Afg won against NZ by 84 runs... brilliant display of bowling...

6. Bangladesh beat Srilanka today.. but even 125 target turned into a low scoring thriller . because both bowling units were competitive..and everyone was at the edge of their seats.. when will runs come / when will wicket fall

7. Plus we have had a high scoring match like USA vs Canada and Aus vs Eng as well (being the rare 200 scoring match and that's what it should be 200s should be difficult and rare) hence the speciality....

8. A few dominating matches are needed also like India dominated over Ireland, South Africa over Srilanka , west indies over Uganda , Scotland over Oman and Australia over Namibia

9. Even Netherlands had taken south Africa their worst poweplay in history and took it to the end
10. Ind vs Pak...Pak bowled out India for 119 in 19 overs and lost by 6 runs with 3 wickets remaining.. you can't make this up.. now that's a fight..

11. Right after ind v pak Bangladesh bowled out SA for 113 and almost created a semi upset only the failure to hit a six in the second last ball helped SA to defend th score and win by only 4 runs.. a match that had 4 leg by runs bad umpiring lbw call controversy as well with down the wire last over drama...
12. Three groups A,D and C will have a run rate issue for second position..it's that close..


Flat pitches destroy cricket ... A 150 avg scoring match where bat vs ball contents is even is much more entertaining and good for the tournament...

How can Local people afford this to support the cricket

When they brought it to the states it should have been at SoFi Stadium in LA,Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas or Hard Rock stadium in Miami. NFL stadiums that could have gotten some real good crowds,refitted for cricket and 2 of them have translucent roofs. In my opinion.

The coverage of this tournament in English is too limited. It is NOT an Indian competition. I think the USA leg was a huge success and totally disagree it was not. It is in Indian Crickets best interests to portray it as unsuccessful/

World cup in USA was set up to be disaster. Timings was not setup according to local populace comfort. Who the heck will come to any random match 10 in the morning.

How can you say those matches failed? IMO, a low scoring thriller is treat to watch than a one sided match which will save the WC according to you.
