Is it true about all the talk about vibration on the motor ways after a certain speed?
ОтветитьExcellent review of the bike!
ОтветитьGeez Dave, I don't think I've ever seen you being so uniformly positive on a bike in any review that I have seen from you. It corresponds to what other riders and reviewers say, so it ought to be right. This would have to be right up there with the new V-Strom 800 DE and even the V-Strom 1050 DE for rider touring comfort. If I were to choose a bike right now, I'd have to look very closely at this one. Thank you for an excellent review, well organised and clear.
ОтветитьTiger or africa?
ОтветитьOwning this bike myself and rode it like 70/30 on and off road i could tell you this:
i switched from an older 1200 version so it made me immediatly happy going offroad. It proved to be more nimble and having more bite to it when you want it.
So far it has been perfect onroad on longer hauls. It has been scarry sometimes when offroad in wet and muddy conditions.
The last has nothing to do with the bike, but with traction due to the tyres and the weight you put on it as luggage.
Never put a topcase on it when offroading...it gives you the feeling of an an extra tail wich is to fat and swings left and right.
I switched standard tyres to 50/50 Mitas E07+ and they do a perfect job, unless in muddy clay as u will find in the UK ( verry bad there)
When commes to protection... i think any KTM and co has a lot more basic protection due to big bash plate around low fueal tank.
Compared to a KTM 890 or a Huski Norden..; it is a lot more top heavy, but it is a lot more capable on road
I waited 10 months for one of these, had it just over 12 months now and love it, only mods has been wider pivot pegs and bar risers. You'd be surprised where you can get these even with the stock bridgestone tyres which are almost road spec.
ОтветитьExcellent review! What's your height?!
ОтветитьHow many levels of traction control are available to program into the Tigers Rider mode? Husqvarna offers 9 levels on the 901.
ОтветитьI don't know if that's a dealership, or what, but I wish more companies did business that way. 30 minutes of just some dude talking about what he knows. Nothing beats that.
ОтветитьWhat tires are you running on that?
ОтветитьI especially liked Cliff’s walk through.
ОтветитьAwesome
Ответитьwhat group is singing the music
ОтветитьThey make bar risers for him I got short arms, I'm going to go look at one of these in the next few days I'll make sure I pay attention to that.
ОтветитьRiding on the wrong side of the road, LOL
ОтветитьSweet Jesus how many adverts have you planted in this video?
ОтветитьTroyumph noine handured toiger. 🙌🏻🇦🇺
ОтветитьFantastic motorbike! Design and engine wise. One question: how strong are vibrations on both foot peg and steering around 120-130kmh? It seems to be a common factor for many other reviewers. Thank you.
ОтветитьAre your arms over extended?
Ответить...The Long Way 'Round...to Starbuck's...
ОтветитьThe dude at the end of the video has given me the best insight into this bike, better than I even got from my local dealership ! What a guy! Who knew about the phone holder !! AWESOME ! Love the chanel btw , wish I lived in Australia rather than drizzley blighty
ОтветитьWhy make this a movie length review ? Silly when others can do the same in 15-20 mins
ОтветитьHow tall are you? Im 5'10" and was wondering about the low seat option
ОтветитьI just purchased a new 2023 Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer
ОтветитьGood reveiw. I'm curious : based on the awesomeness of this new technology bike, are you still happy with and keeping the DR 650 ? Cheers, Steve
ОтветитьWhat is that song playing in the beginning?? Awesome song for this adventure!
Ответить44k( about the same as Aust dollar) here....shhhh
ОтветитьDave, many thanks for this awesome video and review. I've recently purchased a 2021 RP and I've got a quick question about the TPMS and tyre pressures you ran while reviewing. Did you drop your pressures when changing track types (tar/gravel) and dealt with the TFT warnings from the TPMS or just left them at the suggested 34 and 42? The tyres I'm currently running are the Mitas E07's. Many Thanks again mate.👍👍Love all the vids.
ОтветитьBest vid I've seen on this bike.
ОтветитьI watched this and immediately went and bought a Rally Pro!
Great video thanks!
P.d. aparte de que es uno de los pocos review de habla inglesa que está traducido (parcialmente) al español!!!
ОтветитьExcelente review.
Nuevamente excelente trabajo!!
Take that ugly tank bag off
ОтветитьShut up and take my money
ОтветитьMan I really enjoyed this review. Great stuff and thanks from South Africa. Cheers
ОтветитьI have this bike and it’s way too vibes and has too little wind pro for someone 6’ or taller from my perspective. I’m selling it because of this.
ОтветитьHow would it compare to the Africa twin crf1000?
ОтветитьMissed some Great Videos. Sorry Mate., Will catch up. Nice Moto. 🙂
ОтветитьAwesome thorough review. Thank you!
When can we expect to see a africa twin review? Looking forward
Cheers!
The Q&A really helped make this video great.
ОтветитьCan't wait to see your 1200 Rally review 👍
ОтветитьThese reviews seem to be getting into a bit of a vlog style territory. I've liked them, when they were more compact, edited down, focused. The information value is still great, just the pace and focus is a bit off for me.
ОтветитьHi Dave you mentioned in this review from a subscriber were he mentions that the weight of the motorcycle is irrelevant if one is over weight. He says one should lose body weight the all bikes are on par. I disagree, ones body wait is not the same as the weight between your legs that you must through around all day. Very similar to unstrung mass. The same goes for ones fitness.
Regards
Michael
Ps. Losing body weight will certainly make you more comfortable on your bike while riding.
Yet another great video... 890r vs 900r? Different machines for different settings?
ОтветитьHi Dave, great review, I've had my Tiger RallyPro for 12mths now loving it around town and road trips. I haven't taken mine off road as yet but planning thd Gt Central road next month and need to change the standard factory tyres. What tyres did you have on the Tiger and how were theyWhat presures did you use on your off road considering they are tubeless.
Cheers Brian
Does the seat height have two Positions or 3 ? He said you can go up 20 mm and down 20 mm implying from the Middle Position
ОтветитьHopefully not a stupid question but any chances you'll be testing the CFMOTO 800mt in the future?
Ответить
