3 Must-See Overlanding Destinations in Arkansas

In this adventure, we head back to some of Arkansas' most iconic overlanding hotspots! We’ve partnered with our good friend Michael from Arkansas Off-Road Adventures to show the Trailheads Overland group from Mississippi what makes these locations so special.

We kicked off the journey by camping just north of Car Wash Falls, waking up early to tackle some of Arkansas' best overland trails. Our first stop was the historic Union School, followed by a visit to Bub's Cabin—a glimpse into Arkansas' past that you can't miss.

After a quick lunch at the legendary Oark General Store, we made our way into the heart of the Ouachita National Forest. We camped under the stars at the base of Forked Mountain, with amazing views and great company.

Along the way, we encountered challenging trails, incredible history, and stunning scenery. It’s been an unforgettable experience, and we're thrilled to share it with you.
