I just notice that most of the elden ring bosses corellate to a Norse god or figure somehow. Fire giant is Surtr, Radagon is Tyr, Maliketh is Fenrir, Rykard/God-eating Serpent is Jormungandr and of course Malenia is none other than Freyja, godess of war.

Did you upgrade the hammer or was this no upgrade? On one hand, a weapon being just an objectively wrong choice seems like something From would do, but on the other, 300 damage on a charged heavy is a little too low.

This run was soooo much better than the movie.

In the Norse mythology, Thor defeated the great serpent Jǫrmungandr using a fishing rod with a "great hook". Perhaps you using the Storm rule... erm. I mean the "Serpent Hunter"-spear for this fight isn't that far away from the story after all.

Ik I'm late but I kinda wish you would've used the stormhawk axe as stormbreaker as the thunderstorm ash of war looks perfect and infused lightning

As a quick note, a much better early game stormbreaker may have been the stormhawk axe. The lightning slash and thunderbolt weapon arts would have also been cool.
Still, fantastic idea for a run, and great execution.

I’ve been using the Battle Axe and Greataxe on my own little challenge run as an Edelgard von Hresvelg cosplay, a character from Fire Emblem Three Houses, and good lord am I glad axes recently got buffed. I kept having to resort to my Pyromancy because they just weren’t dealing enough damage for my stats and weapon level in comparison. Although the stormcaller ash of war was incredibly useful against Godrick, that thing stunned him so many times it’s unreal. It’s still fun though, I very much enjoy the Axe/Pyromancy playstyle, especially after beating Dark Souls 2 with it. Just wish there was a fire armament spell or something that isn’t Bloodflame Blade

i'd fully reccomend lightning body and lightning slash with the heavy infusion on the hammer, you can also duplicate the ashes for the great axe if you want, heavy is better for the infusion and you can also swap the ashes on the hammer for thunderbolt if you want to save yourself a memory slot.

I do agree the godskin duo is a hard duo fight, but it took me way more attempts to beat the godskin “duo” in spiritcaller cave to beat them

I did this in DS3 once and it was great fun. I did allow for axes as well because he got one after Mjölnir broke. In the end, I never used lightning miracles though since the good ones are late game and smacking everyone with the biggest hammer I could find was way more enjoyable
