The most shocking part is that he fights with insurance companies. To hear that these companies don’t want to pay for people’s health is truly eye opening. They don’t care about us. And we pay them for it.

Nice video but it’s not always “100% up to patients what their heart health will look like.” Systemic racism and oppression affect what kinds of food people have access to, what time they have to exercise, what health insurance allows them to see doctors. It’s not always as easy as patients making a conscious choice. Nice video though

Does this make anyone else mad? He’s clearly a diversity token. HBCUs have NO standard and sub 25% graduation rates and he’s clearly inarticulate just in every day conversation. I feel so sorry for his patients and for every spot he took from a qualified white person
