The best.
ОтветитьIs he Hispanic? São José dos Campos pronounced in Spanish sounds strange with an American accent in a word of Portuguese origin, it bugged my head.
Ответитьit is funny the way you say portuguese words with a spanish accent, just like "São José" which you spelt as "São Rosé".
ОтветитьI’ve lived in Sao Jose for almost 2 decades and visited the production sites a few times as my parents used to be engeneers at Embraer. This company is the proud of SJC.
ОтветитьSão José dos Campos, not "Hosé"
ОтветитьEmbraer needs to step on Airbus and Boeing’s neck! Time to step up and build an A320 and 737 competitor. The Chinese or Russian can’t do it. Embraer has the know-how with 50 years of experience. Stop the duopoly!
ОтветитьI loved this Brazilian aerial content.
ОтветитьAs a brazilian, I'm impressed to know that Embraer also has units in USA and Portugal
ОтветитьFlying with KLM Cityhopper in a Embrear E 190 E2 a great wat of flying.
ОтветитьI use work erj 135 to 145
Ответитьvery very nice!!!
ОтветитьMy favourite Embraer aircraft has to be the biggest the Embraer E195 E2.
ОтветитьBrazil
ОтветитьPhenom 100 EV..😃😃😃
ОтветитьE175 is a nice ride
ОтветитьPlease learn how to say the name of my city 🙏
ОтветитьAll the tongue in cheek comments about Málaga are because if you change the accent from the first a to the second (as in the video), it sounds funny.
Spanish has been both blessed and cursed with graphic accents, which is one of the features that make it a phonemically written language. That is, if you follow all the rules, you never read a word wrong.
E195E2
ОтветитьJust a little tip when speaking words and names from portuguese speaking countries: our letter J's pronunciation is closer to English than to Spanish. So, in José, you can use the same sound for the letter J as you get on Jet, instead of the "spanish" J, that for us, sound like the letter R.
ОтветитьLEOES DA FABULOSA 1972
ОтветитьWill the Gripen-E be built at any of these locations, or are they starting a separate production line? If Brazil funds development of a carrier-based Gripen, it's likely export models could be built by Embraer like McDonnell Douglas did with the Harrier II.
ОтветитьThe KC-390 is one of the best looking aircraft imo
ОтветитьThe city is pretty sleek, but employability is very low right now.
Ответить"Malaaaga in Spain?" Man, are you a robot, or are you completely clueless about pronunciation? 🤣
ОтветитьHint if you want to sound more professional: most pilots (except for a couple of Yanks 🤠) never refer to a runway by "sixteen" but instead call it "one six."
Ответить200k incoming!
ОтветитьWhy gringos get the city name right but keep writing Brasil with Z
ОтветитьIn the '80s and '90s I flew the Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante 19 passenger airplane and the 30 passenger EMB-120 Brasilia - both great airplanes.
I also picked up a Brasilia from the factory and enjoyed their hospitality when I got a ride in their Tucano trainer. The ride included an ejection seat operational briefing by a technician who spoke no English, and his instructions were translated to me via our Embraer sales rep... What could possibly go wrong?
Rio is about 400km from são josé dos Campos. And I believe the runway is 15-33
ОтветитьI have flown in the Banderante, EMB 120,140,145, E170 and E175. Not in Brazil but in the US and Europe. I have also visited the factory in Sao Jose dos Campos on 5 occasions. The design and quality of the E 170,175 family is impressive and found the engineers to be as good if not better than those at Boeing or Airbus. I hope they succeed going forward, they deserve it.
ОтветитьGreat vid 🤩 I just must mention that “J” in Portuguese sounds just like in English ✌🏻
ОтветитьPlease don't speak José like a spanish-speaker. J in portuguese is pronounced like in french, or Ʒ in phonetical alphabet.
In worst case, speak J like in English, sounds way better than in spanish.
I have been working as an engineering intern at Embraer since April. Due to the pandemic, I work from home, but I had the opportunity to get to know the facilities of São José dos Campos. As an engineering student and aviation enthusiast it was a fantastic experience.
ОтветитьThe Gavião Peixoto facility is where the KC-390 and the A-29 Super Tucano are manufactured.
ОтветитьJust a small correction on narrator's pronunciation. He pronounced the name of city, Jose, with Spanish accent, which is different from Portuguese. "J", in Portuguese, has close pronunciation as J in English, or as he pronounced Rio de Janeiro.
ОтветитьThe way he said “Malaga” 😂
ОтветитьEmbraer has a name and reputation in aviation that is really hard to achieve.
ОтветитьI flew on the plane at the last part of the video, the PH-EXG😂
ОтветитьThe video: informative and entertaining. The -renunciation: painful
ОтветитьMy fav airplane out of all is the emb 195 E2
ОтветитьIt's pronounced Embra-AIR.
ОтветитьMy favourite embraer aircraft is actually a military plane, the EMB-314 Super Tucano
Great ground support plane
Just Flying from London to Belfast in one of those..
Nicely done Embraer
The 'J' in São José dos Campos is pronounced more like in English with a proper "J" sound instead of the"h" sound in spanish
ОтветитьIs it possible to visit the Portuguese Plant?
ОтветитьVery good video, as usual. Just a note. As you know the language in Brazil is Portuguese and the letter J in José is spelled the same as in English, when you say Joseph ! Note that hearing "Hosé", instead of José is quite irritating for most Brazilians !
ОтветитьEmbraer Praetor 600 is the best medium range aircraft for a decent price point and excellent nautical range.
ОтветитьI find that the new E2 makes a really weird sound when it taxis to runway
ОтветитьYes....get your commentator to take some foreign language pronunciation lessons...PLEASE!
