Honestly, I don't really have any "good" motivations at the moment, but just the fear of the crippling anxiety I felt every week during my last semester in med school.

what motivates me to study is that my « best friend » told me so many things to make me believe that i cannot do it. It led me to believe i cannot do it. We’re both wrong.

The thing that pushed me so I finally stopped laying around everyday after school, scrolling through videos, chatting with weird people, literally just wasting my time is, china. Yes it is, I'm chinese myself but I don't live in China. It's a lot to explain, but the important goal I want to achieve is, to go to 清华大学 tsinghua university. Before I went back to china this year after I didn't go back for four years, I realized how much i became my real self. I feel at home there, necause it is my home, and I'm impressed by the amount of studying all my friends there have to do. I'm impressed by the determination, im impressed by the motivation everyone has, and I know how hard it is, but everyone is still trying their best, and that's because they have a goal. They know what they study for, for the country, for their parents, for themselves! And I'm proud that they do so, and I want to get away from the view on studying the people in europe have. Since I was in elementary, someone who studies a lot was considered as nerd and weird, and when I used to cry because I didn't get full points and people bullied me, i thought it was my fault. But no! I see no reason to give up bevause of people who are too lazy and useless themselves to achieve, to even set goals! My goal is to get to the peak of life, after all the years I've been at the foot of the mountain, i want to see all the possibilities that I can achieve, I want to be better than anyone! The people I have around me in school now are partly doing drugs, smoking or whatever, and now after I started studying everyday for at least three hours, they are making fun of me again. But seriously, isn't this funny, i feel so great around them, I'm happy that I've found the right path, the path to a beautiful and successfull life, and am sad seeing them being lost in life, needing anyone else to recognize them. Yes, that's long story short, I hope it can inspire you, at least a little

I'm motivated to study and do well, because it's all I've ever known. Yes, I'm good in sport and cultural clubs, but nothing has brought my parents and I the same joy as when we congratulate each other for supporting each other in this educational journey. Also, I study so that I am able to give myself enough options to make up for my indecisiveness and impressionability. But most importantly, it's to give myself the life I know I deserve.

I want to study because it's my dream to become zoologist since like I was 5 or 4 maybe? Unfortunately when you are the golden kid and learning everything 5 minutes before lesson at some point it's going to get harder that that. My goal is to learn some basic academic biology because I just love science and I know it's gonna help me a lot. And there's also hope that if I'm able to organize better I have more time to do other hobbies (creative writing and motocycle writing). Sooooo I think this video will help me quite a lot!

The school year started real strong, and now the sudden change of weather and more stressful school environment because its midterm season is making me sad and anxious. I really am questioning why i'm here. I feel lonely, homesick, and uncapable. Thank you for your video, Jade. I really want to incorporate these habits and it's super inspiring to see that you learned all of this because of your own passion for education and becoming a better you and student. What is currently motivating me to study is the fact that it will pay off in the future and equip me with the knowledge of the world so that I can do what I want to do. It's really hard in times like this, but trying is what matters. I just need to show up to a study location and not let the anxiety of work get the best of me. What is really preventing me right now is the overwhelming amount of work i need to catch up on. But it gets better by doing, so that's what i'm gonna do. <333

Fear of being average , fear of failing. Many people have alot of expectations from me and i dont want them to let down. I need academic validation cause unlike others i am not good at sports, cooking sketching etc shit . Studying is the only thing I can do . I love getting new information, i wanna learn so much that whenever someone asks me any question i want to answer it immediately and like everyone else in the comment section i want my parents to be proud of me and i want to constantly improve myself. The battle isn't with someone but myself. The day i win against myself,it would be the happiest day of my life.
