Paint 3D is by far the easiest and most versatile program for a quick editing of your images.
It is also quite fast to launch, and saves your work progress if your computer should have a breakdown.

Great and simple tutorial!

DON'T BE FOOLED !! What comes with this software is all there is. You're stuck with what's there. You can't import ANY 3D designs (to add to the library). This software need some serious re-vamping.

A major problem is, after saving the 3D Object it permanently groups everything together, therefore making it almost impossible to make 3D Animations.

Leave it to MS to make new tool - but leave out the inability to simply drag the screen to see parts of the canvas. 50 years of screwed up products....

If I were to remove an image and place it in front of a transparent background, would there be anyway to recenter the image?

I'm not saying the tutorial is bad. It's good. Just... Paint 3D is completely useless.

This program is definitely not going to win any awards for being user friendly. I am trying to make a card game and all cards are different with different names so I want to use the same 3d png word template for all the names. Problem even after I saved one and want to then open the project to create a new name in the same style it does not allow me to edit the name, i.e. if I want to change Zeus to Poseidon. I guess I can create every name from scratch with the same specs? The options to create a 3D word is also very limited. I want my wording to be a certain colour and want to change the colour for the 3d part. Also want do draw black outlines, but that is also not possible. Very limited and un-user friendly program.
