This video is incredibly wrong from $100k until the end. As an example, people don't simply decide to spend 28% of their income on housing REGARDLESS of their income level. If someone on a $1MM salary decides to spend 20k/mo on it, it's because they've got HUGE savings already, meaning they're able to afford an almost similar lifestyle in the case they become unable to earn a single dollar for the rest of their lives. That must be taken into account and showing it using salary only is misleading at least.
ОтветитьDid anyone else think for a second that this was a Mr beast thumbnail?
ОтветитьDude, he forgot about the kids
ОтветитьIf you are feeding yourself for $300 a month, you're eating rice and making your own bread. If you're only spending $313 on your car, keep in mind my liability insurance when I was 18 in 2003 on a 12 year old car was $296 a month as a new driver, no tickets, and drivers ed completed. 22 years ago. Also, finding full time work was impossible; nobody wants to pay benefits.
I wrote a whole paper in college on why the federal standards for poverty were broken, why the metrics they use are outdated, and factoring in things like employers demanding you have a cell phone to be called in, and have your own transportation (busses and bikes didnt count) even for entry level work, we are just completely fucked. It was a 35 page paper written for a 200 level class lol. I was mad. I came up with roughly $52,000 a year being the amount needed to live in Salem, OR (in 2007 while in college) completely independently, without roommates and while maintaining the bare minimum requirements (like paying utilities, not eating out, no 'fun' budget, just bills and rent and work expenses). That was 18 years ago. Since the median wage has gone from $38,000 to $62,000 in this time period in our area while rents have gone from $440 to $1260 a month (same apartment, 20 years apart), I highly doubt anyone making less than $75,000 a year isn't struggling. Which, last I checked, is about 70% of the population.
Meanwhile, Elon made 160 billion dollars between Jan 21st and Feb 8th this year. Just sayin, maybe somethings broken. After 20+ years though, I'm feelin more like a broken record.
And here I am thinking 200k 2mill .... Is the dream life
.... What do people earning 25million a year / a life do buy twitter
Good vid👍
ОтветитьUf en ese país los impuesto son una locura
Ответить6.4 mil subscribers on a channel with your name, are you noah or robert at this point?
ОтветитьTaxes sucks 🙂🥀
ОтветитьNo termino de entender porque no le cobran impuestos a los millonarios
ОтветитьI live in Sweden and earn 2,500 euros per month after taxes.
I pay 400 euros for a one-room apartment.
I don’t own a car because it’s not useful in Stockholm—the train system is very well developed here.
I spend 125 euros on transportation.
WiFi, mobile phone, and other utilities cost me 80 euros.
Electricity costs between 30 and 40 euros.
Healthcare is free.
Education is free.
And after paying all my bills, I have 1850 euros left. With this money, I enjoy life I can easily afford to buy clothes at H&M or Zara and go out with friends in central Stockholm on Fridays.
I go out every Friday since I spend around 200 euros on this per month. Food costs me about 600 euros, and I eat out quite often, sometimes even at restaurants.
At the end of the month, if I don’t spend too much, I have about 700 euros left. I’m saving this money for a trip to Spain in the summer. Or for bad time.
Oh, and the gym costs me 25 euros. I don’t use any subscriptions—I watch pirated versions of Netflix movies in Russian. 😅
And don’t write to me, “a foreigner who moved to Sweden.” Yes, I moved, and I like Sweden as a country.
Peace and Love.
I got 60k now and I got no where to dump bro, everything is jacked up in the stock market.
ОтветитьI grossed 25,800 last year and while I had a few rough spots I survived. I would LOVE to share my expenses w/ you to show you how I live. I do not own a car. I can't afford it.
I also live on central Long Island, one of the most expensive places to live. I'm very lucky in that my rent is the price of a room in someone else's house. I've also been here 10 years and If I had to move, I'd be living in a room.. a 1 BR basement apartment is $1800.... that's almost what I make per month. However I WOULD qualify for snap but I prob. wouldn't get much at all. maybe $100. but I have lived on less so it's doable for me. (and I could lose the weight too lol).
I will send you an email in case u wanna talk! My real account is a combination of my name and a popular info website.. you should pick it out right away. ;-)
If Dave Ramsey saw how you live on 100,000/year... he would crawl up one side of you and down the other. then tell you to sell the car!
ОтветитьOF ALL THE NAMES U USE FOR THE 25 MILLION INCOME.... YOU CHOOSE THE NAME OF MY EX.. (who is a gaslighting narcissistic loser lol)
ОтветитьYou forgot property taxes and home owners insurance, water, gas, sewer, electric bill

ОтветитьIts easier to end the world , than end capitalism
ОтветитьWhen dawn’s sweet melody and the song of the bird were crushed by the alarm clock, and the rats stir, wise to the game, knowing the desperate race begins. Dare to Dream my friends.
ОтветитьI was actually getting bored watching the $25M income bracket. As much as I’d like to be in that bracket I’m not sure life would be as exciting as the lower income brackets
ОтветитьI have found that the average person wastes a lot of money by making stupid decisions. People say I want to be where you are but when I tell them they always say "I don't want to work that hard". I have never had a 40 hr work week my entire adult life, always much more. Since I was always working I didn't have time to spend a lot of money which I invested wisely. I retired at 52.
Ответитьthe 8k per month on food for the 1% is quite normal tbh
ОтветитьWait what’s going on with this tax thing…eating almost half your salary…don’t work wrk like that in Africa!! 83k a month ad you only get 48 ??jesus is Lord
ОтветитьIf youre at the bottom of the barrel, join the military. Lots of benifits and a chance to make a tremendous impact on our community
ОтветитьDo nada o cara vira um Portuga kkkkkkkk
ОтветитьMy lifestyle as a millionaire is minimalistic. Land payed for, home paid for, motorcycle paid for, $75 a year insurance. No bills. Live off grid. Save every penny I make from my job. 😊
ОтветитьHalf of the 1,000,000.00 dollar earner goes to taxes crazy man
ОтветитьUnless you have kids or you in disability it's pretty difficult to gef food stamps. Well at least in the state if Florida any way.
ОтветитьL George
ОтветитьAmericans hate on Scandinavia, because we pay alot of tax.
In Denmark u get paid approx 20$ minimum, which is 13$ after tax. And then you have free Healthcare Care and free access to some of the best Education in the world🇩🇰🇩🇰
You are very calming
ОтветитьPeople who make 25 million from business they themselves built will never even bother to spend even 250k dollars yearly . Clothes or shoes maybe because you need them everyday . The lifestyle you showed for a person at 25million is for the person who makes around 100million from business
ОтветитьThis is one of the most accurate videos I have ever seen! Amazing
ОтветитьEveryone in the comments like bots stating their personal financial story 😂
ОтветитьI always come back to this video it's so informational thank you Johnny Harris.
ОтветитьBro,the minimum monthly salary for nepal is 100dollars

ОтветитьJust have W rizz and you get more money
ОтветитьKudos on this excellent, empathetic journalism 👏🏼 A similar story in all major economies. Greed it would seem, is an incurable disease.
ОтветитьTRUMP WILL FIX IT! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Reagan 😊😊😊
Hispanics for Trump!
This insufferable Harris guy is for sure a Dem... So woke. Therefore a Kamala voter, therefore super dumb!
ОтветитьLOL I though BLS data meant Bullshit data.
ОтветитьAnd thats exactly why most people never make it into the millions. They break into 6 figures and get comfortable there. Spending as though theyre making millions.
ОтветитьThe work you put into this video is beautiful
ОтветитьI grew up in a middle class neighborhood in the 50’s and 60’s. My dad was a doctor. My neighbors were a butcher, who raised three son who became an engineer, a doctor, and professor. A policeman, two University of Chicago lawyers, teachers, scientists, etc. Their wives did not work. Tell me now what neighborhoods are like that today?
ОтветитьNot gonna lie is it me but living with people it’s actually kind of fun
