Probably not the only person to say this, but the reason so many mobs spawn in the caves is because there's nowhere else for them to spawn. Caves are much more dangerous in island maps for that reason. At least, that's how it was when I played minecraft "back in my day" 😂

how to get villager: make mob farm>wait for zombie villager>brew weakness potion(or use a witch)>cure zombie villager with golden apple and weakness potion, voilla you got a villager. do that 2x you got inf villagers. Edit: this was still very enjoyable to watch
