As a self-proclaimed classical music coinsure, I should not say this, but perhaps is too late and I'm sleepy. This duo is extremally beautiful. Donka Angatschev is out of this world gorgeous and what I'm going to say of Panfill,.. However, I have listen/watched this video many times and have only focused on the great talent of both performers, as it should be. Great performance of Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen.

I don't care what anyone says. Between Ms. Ko and Ms. Panfili's renditions of this piece, it is indisputably Ms. Panfili's that brings this music on its feet to sing, and dance, and cry. I've seen comments saying that Ms. Ko's version is technically better; whether that is true or not I neither know nor care, because for me Ms. Ko's version, despite being well executed, sounds flat and one-dimensional, as if she's focusing so much on playing "correctly" that she loses overall musicality. It's still a nice listen, but pales in comparison to Ms. Panfili's spirited and poetic delivery, which sacrifices not an ounce of technique nor of soul throughout this difficult piece. Brava!!!
