Raid6 is almost correct, just Disk0 and Disk4 are wrong, because they need to have double parity each , and in the video only appears one

Raid 2 is much better than Raid 1, that doesnt mean that raid 1 is bad. i hope they will make a raid 3 soon. the action scenes are so awesome!

So with a raid 10, if a single drive failed, and I replaced it with a new drive would the second drive copy over the data the new drive? Or would I lose all the data in the pair?

I was desperate for a video like this about RAID

Hi. I want to build a Raid 10 with 4 HDDs. But now I ask myself what if my motherboard breaks down at some point ? Can I simply connect the 4 HDDs to a new and more modern MB that can also run Raid 10 and it will continue to run (plug & play) as before ? Or do I have to set up and format Raid 10 and then have to upload the data from a last backup ?
