儒家思想是中國人最基本的做人道理,也有別於在國外如何改變他們做更好的人.

Among the dozens of LKY Quotes, ❤1 stands out i.e. " i never aimed to be politically correct, i just tried to do what was correct" (not his exact words but same meaning here)
*this is the thing lacking in many politicians.
I prefer to use the term "Statesman" for LKY.

Xiongnui's Pariah Cina LKY stated Singapore is a fishing village and claimed as the founder of Singapore. This proof to show LKY is a blatant liar, cheat and thief. Singapore is the most affluent and richest country in whole of SE Asia after the war when LKY is still roaming kampong's in Malaya.

LKY seems to me as an example a great man who appeared on the scene at the right time. This man dedicated his life to his multi ethnic and probably earlier divided nation and was able to bind disparate cultures in a dangerous post colonial wolrld. He did not do this alone and his party and the Singaporean people deserve as much credit for the nation they built. It certainly would have been much more difficult to replicate his success on larger less developed asian countries but studying this man his words and his actions should be required for todays current and would be leaders. It would be sad if people like him only surface once in a lifetime.

I simply do not understand why some Singaporean dislike this figure. I'm as a Malaysian myself would be so grateful if he has ever governed my country as what he did and built Singapore today. As what calvin.9544 says " my deepest respect....the best statesman ever exist on earth". Truly remarkable man in my lifetime, you have my highest salutations.

Although his authoritarian ways may not bode well with modern standards of democracy, LYK did what was necessary back then and what he thought was best for the country. He loved the country dearly and Singapore would not be here today without him ❤. But today’s PAP politicians are a far cry in terms of standards and dedication to the country 😢

Why can we African have a leader like Lee!! We have blood sucking parasitic leaders who loot everything and anything. They preach us god and religion but no ethics and value against corruption!!! Small countries like the Gambia can be Singapore 🇸🇬 if we have good leadership and people ready to achieve progress!!!

There will only one LKY type of leader in a century. Spore is indeed blessed to hv him as PM layong foundations to become whatvshe is today. How sustainable is another question but certainly hos swiftness, firmness n clarity in thoughts and .in actions proved tt esp in Spore's formative years if not until the 2000s. The world has changed tremendously but his basic philosophy of Integrity n Hardwork with running this city state as one united people. He showed what Unity can be achieved with Diversity too ! Thabk you Mr Lee 🙏 🙇‍♀️ 😊

In snippets of Singapore history videos, I noticed that protection officer Mr Kandasamy was always more alert and on the ball than other officers. I wish I can meet him and shake his hand and express my gratitude for his dedication to protecting our FATHER.

I recalled the cold and rainy day of Mr Lee's funeral...I was in a hotel in Manila, watching CNA on the TV in my room and following the funeral events in Singapore.
It was a moving experience for me even though I am not a Singaporean, to see thousands lining the streets where the hearse passed, bringing Mr Lee around Singapore on his final journey and to hear the people calling out his name.
While I do not agree with some of his policies and actions, I believe he truly believed that what did were for the best and betterment of Singapore and her people... truly a great leader.

Singapore is successful because Lee Kuan Yew is super anti corrupted, whereas most Malaysian leaders are opposite, otherwise Malaysia should way ahead.

LKY is the only singapore PM that deserves every cent of the PM salary. given his work, sacrifice, contribution, talent and capability, i'm happy to pay taxes to support such a leader. i cant say the same today with today's leaders. they only know how to sue the poor middle class and tax us until we drown in debt. When LKY was running singapore, we were never a puppet state of western powers. today i'm ashamed to say, there are so many bootlickers of evil western powers trying to subtly rob us of our independance in foreign polices. singapore's leaders today are all western puppets with 0 backbone to do anything hard. no iron will, no strong mind. just weak and greedy selfish individuals working for the sake of the high ministerial salaries. they are nothing like LKY. WAKE UP singaporeans! LKY is gone. we are being played the fool using LKY's legacy to support a corrupt government! PAP was good only when LKY was running the show!

OMG, the ending brings me to tears... again..
I'm a US citizen, was working & living in Singapore for few months in 2015, during that period Mr. LKY passed away.
I remember as well that the day, it was raining heavily as if the Gods were crying for the great loss & the people were lining up the streets.
I didn't know about the event after just arrived in Singapore the day before.
So I was in the hotel, watching the farewell ceremony on TV, I cried back then & so touched by the respect & love shown by the nation.
Nothing like this ever occurred in the US, UK, or EU...

The following years, I read through all of his memoirs & watched his videos on YT.
His wisdom cleared a lot of ways of thinking & seeing the world for me, which led my life to a better outcome as Singapore did for the past decades.
Highly recommend everyone to read the books, his practical wisdom will guide you through the challenges in life to become better.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew - a chosen man for a chosen destiny for the nation of Singapore 🇸🇬❤.

I have met him when i was in SGH going for an orthodontist 😂 appointment. He was surrounded by body guards as he went for his dental appointment 😅

He was very tall & had such an aura of authority & remarkable stature.

The 2nd time - was queueing for hours to bid him farewell at his funeral. 😢

RIP : LKY.
