People say Gon is simple-minded since he is an Enhancer. Putting that aside, i do like the idea if Gon was a Manipulator instead. I mean, several shonen protagonists like Luffy, Goku, Naruto, etc are kinda simpleton and naive, though they can be perceptive in combat situations or so. I think it's amusing for a shonen protagonist to be calculative, stoic and cunning. Imagining if Gon was a manipulative person under the kind-hearted facade.
