I Pursued Tadakatsu Honda at Level ONE in EVERY Sengoku Basara

I kid you not, the first time I fought him, I was like: "IS THAT A GODDAMN GUNDAM?!" And I somehow survived the fight but my HP was now low as a result. I was using Yukimura at that time. 😅

You definitely fit in a shounen anime, brother. I felt that especially when I heard your glee during the first game. 😲😎

Man just being reminded of how screwed up the Devil Kings localization was. All the characters and story is basically gone, they removed some playable characters for no real reason, changed actual mechanics(added a priming system just for this release), and screwed with the difficulty because Capcom during this time loved doing that. The original japanese normal is actually what is called Easy in our version and our Normal was japanese hard, with our hard being an extra step higher. Even worse with that is you had an EXP gain penalty if you played on easy so you were essentially forced into what was designed to be the game's hard mode to not be punished.
Like they flat out actively sabotaged this game when they brought it over which is why we didn't get another game in the series over in the US until SB3 which was called Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes over here. Which they sabotaged by essentially stealth releasing it and in such small batches that most people over here didnt know it even happened. Even diehard fans of the series had no idea it was happening.
The fact the first game was still fun despite the nonsense is amazing. The third game was actually super good over here as well but no one knew it happened or could even find it so it didnt sell well.

Kenshin is pretty consistently top tier in most of the series, both lore wise and actual gameplaywise. To the point that from 3 on he has literal infinites and he can combo the entire battlefield from start to finish without ever dropping combo.

Gameplay wise 5 is the hands down best in this series while I believe the super version of 4 is the most feature complete with the super version of 3 having the best stages. 5 is way too focused on Yukimura story to the exclusion of pretty much everything else and 4 gets really gimmicky with a lot of stages and the enemy formations mess with enemy density too much so stages feel too empty and unfun sometimes.

Sengoku Basara not nearly as underrated at this mans channel 😭 I haven’t seen such a pure-hearted gamer in so long

I miss this franchise so much, man.

I think most powerful versions of him is Basara 1- 2 Heroes he hit pretty hard, fast and nearly impossible to knock back with normal combo if you don't have elements weapon and also he have same animation attack from shingen but more wide and his feet is a wheels so he can attack and move in same time so 90% this time he will counter your attack and can really say his fight is very unfair by his massive hp and his animation attack.

Actually, if in 2 player mode of SB2..asl ong as you have Yukimura's skill that he does the fire dance... You can stun lock Tadakasu. Bad part is you, watch out for Tadakatsu's basara meter because if he activates the boost he's no longer stunnable.

But that's no longer doable on a level one character, because you level to get that skill lol

Please do not forget, even most "mean" comments are not to hurt you directly. Oftentimes it's meant to be read by other viewers, not by the creator. I think its a great video. you put a lot of effort in, good quality, nice memes (most of the times) and just really relatable. Also im a big Dynasty warriors fan so i enjoyed this even tho i never heard of TADAKATSU HONDA, who should be pursued.

Many people kept telling me that you should avoid Tadakatsu at any cost. Thinking that he will be just as hard as Lu Bu, i decided to give him a shot. He's hard for sure, but for most of the time he's also a mandatory progression, unlike Lu Bu who were optional any stages besides Xiapi, so you will have to beat him eventually. He's not that hard otherwise because he doesn't have those bullshit flags that Lu Bu has.

It’s a crime this game never blew up the way it should’ve overseas. This series was an underrated treasure and I mean that wholeheartedly.

I had SBSW3 on ps3, and I was SO SALTY they didn't port the 4th one over to America. The 3rd one was straight gas, and watching the Japanese homies play the 4th one in my face just hurt even more lol. You a goat, because the unparalleled TADAKATSU is my main, and has been my tag for almost everything for YEARS lol

Honestly fighting Tadakatsu on BASARA 3 is rather a fucking torture even on Basara difficulty, good luck beating him for special rewards, JUST LOOK AT HOW MUCH HEALTH HE HAD

I don't get it, how come Warriors games became much more popular outside Japan than basically the same games, but created by CAPCOM. It looks like they just decided to not promote it for some reason, if not this video I wouldn't even know this series exists, and I'm a big fan of both Capcom and Omega Force games

No wounder you had to cut some parts, since music for this game is done by T.M.Revolution so it doesnt really belong to Capcom. THats the issue of having some artists to sing for you instead of doing in-game music.
But hey cool video, a lot of fun. I wish it was translated to english (like all games) so I would give them a go actually. I do prefer Samurai Warriors in a way because its more realistic (if you can call Musou games realistic lol), this is like Samurai Warriors on Steroids, but I like it lol. Because beside gameplay I would like to understand whats going on and what items I get, etc.
But some characters have a better looks and such in Basara, and some in Warriors. But hey I do like that Magoichi (if ya know what I mean hah).

Just for future reference, you can play Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes for 3 and have it in English. I believe they're the exact same game.
