I had a feeling that it was going to be Luke to hear Grogu's request at the Tython rocks but had no idea how they were going to connect them. This ending was done perfectly. I still come back and re-watch this episode on the regular. We never got to see Luke at the height of his abilities until this scene.

All this time later, I'm convinced that Jon has the integrity of a titanium skyscraper when it comes to what he will and will not do or be a part of with Star Wars. If it means more to you than a paycheck or status, this is the kind of work and outcome you shoot for. Every time. Regardless of what Dave does with his thing, at least ONE really great moment was had in the SW Universe during this century.

they should have gone into the main Star Wars theme as the doors closed at the end. They also should not have brought Baby Yoda back in BoB they ruined this whole moment by doing that. They resurrected Star Wars only to destroy it again. other than one episode of BoB it was all downhill after this.

I come back to this once in a while, when I am in a dark spot. Like everyone else who loves this franchise, the tears came hard and fast. And ironically, the thought I had was the first line from the trilogy that divided the fan base - "Maybe this will start to make things right." And I do watch and enjoy some of the SW content that has been released since this magical moment. I don't think anything released really did much to solidfy things again. But, for one amazing, heartbreakingly beautiful moment, the fans seemed to bridge that divide.

Regardless, this is easily the best 40 minutes of Star Wars since (most of) ROTJ.

I'm a millennial. This is all my generation had ever wanted. Do as you wish with the franchise afterwards. I'm good

Tbh, i fell off of star wars after rogue one, episode 7 was mediocre and 8 didn't save it so i wrote off 9 and solo was abysmal. with that being said, i didn't and probably won't give any of the series a try as i fel it is nothing more than a money grab to earn enough money quick to cover the cost disney sunk in to buy starwars and justify it. ""with that being said"" i felt this moment through these reactors because of our connection to star wars, its hard to have a series that can make you cry out of happiness like this let alone cry at all to it. and i don't expect it to happen too often hence.

between this and Anakin in Ahsoka... god i love my childhood
