I saw a Gunner one time, swear to God. He was riding a dragon and could control the weather.
ОтветитьJewjewbee...evoo
Bloke chill yank
I quickly observed as I hit the fleet, that WO was the best kind of officer there was. Better pay and less politics and company grade officers left them the hell alone.
Also like rhe SGTMaj the Colonel would call them by their first names. In the grunts the gunner is the Colonel's guy.
My observation was they were incredible Marines and the butter bars gave them wide berth LOL
Army aviation is warrant officer = pilots
(Most of the time)
Remember me and a buddy of mine had fire-watch in the barracks between 2-4 in the morning, 96 weekend. The lad walked in and I told him “Hey, are you lost kid?”. He walked closer and as I assessed the scene, realized he was a CWO 4 and unconsciously reported my post. Good times
ОтветитьI sincerely believe had i stayed in the Army and made a career in it, i would have tried to become a Warrent Officer as a Helicopter Pilot. We did some of our Jumps out of Helicopters and we were around those guys because of it. They are heavily respected and not messed with, and the best Job in the Army in my opinion. Enjoying your videos!
ОтветитьCivilian here. Is it true what they say about WARRANT OFFICERS? I heard their like ghost and almost never see them unless they want yall to see them. Are they really the hardest working person on base?
ОтветитьNo one gets more respect than a WO!!
ОтветитьWhen I was a young Sgt in the drill field, I was told by the Company XO (a Capt) that WO's weren't real officers.
ОтветитьIn my MOS field (utilities), there’s only one officer MOS, utilities officers, and it is available only to warrant officers. All Platoon OICs I had were warrant officers.
ОтветитьI worked with a CWO3 who was with 1stRadBn when we were in Kuwait/Iraq back in '03. The humvee he was in got hit with an IED. He sure as hell was right back out there again with us in Fallujah in '04-'05. Yut
ОтветитьI never knew this but the lowest-ranking warrant officers (WO1) serve under a warrant, but they receive commissions from the president upon promotion to chief warrant officer 2 (CWO2).
Fascinating for sure!
✌🏽
One officer are you going to do a video on my favorite cadre of shady characters? LDOs
ОтветитьWe had a gunner and they always called him, “Gunner Marine”. I was like, oh okay, its THE gunner marine. Like infantry marine. His last name was actually Marine 😂
ОтветитьCan Marine Warrant Officers fly aircraft similar to Army Warrant Officers? Or are those MOS’s reserved for Commissioned Marine Officers only?
ОтветитьYah heard of Gunner Ruben Wright look him up famous Gunner from 2005
Ответитьwarrant is like seeing a Bigfoot. you think you saw one... but the view was blurry.
ОтветитьThat isn't the identification marks for a CWO5. Their cover is a unicorn-horn shaped party hat. That's why they are called unicorns.
The secret to seeing a CWO5 is to get a high ranking officer to shut down a whole base by doing something really stupid that structurally harms a base or a ship.
Everyday I want to Die, God/Jesus destroyed my Mind, Carreer Jobs, my Beauty took away my Women, Friends, destroyed all my Life for over 41 Years.
God has always Hated me and has been Evil towards me. Don't Bring Kids God is going to destroy all Humanity.
I have to become a warrant officer to go to 160th and fly blackhawks that’s my dream…after SF ofcourse
ОтветитьI should have went that route when I let the gun club at 11 years. All well
ОтветитьSo you cannot lat move once you are a WoO?
ОтветитьI hope they get a 20000 dollars pay raise too
ОтветитьArmy Paratrooper here, I always liked seeing Warrant Officers especially CWO4. They always looked happy and returned salutes with a greeting. They were definitely a respected rank. AATW!
ОтветитьMy boy Will was just promoted from CWO to Captain as an LDO. Great work sir.
ОтветитьAll together they make a large group of suckers
ОтветитьSemper Fi 🦅🌎⚓️🇺🇸
ОтветитьSemper fidelis
ОтветитьNavy vet here. Had a phillipino-american CWO on my ship, dude was cool as a cucumber
ОтветитьWhat does Lieutenant 2.2 field officer do?
ОтветитьDoodie experts😂
ОтветитьYes, we have them. They go from doesn’t do shit to absolutely doesn’t do shit 5😅
ОтветитьPretty Salty! Ooorraaah! Semper Fi.
ОтветитьI checked in to 1st CEB as a new Lt and checked in with my new company commander, who was actually a Sgt and the Battalion CO, who was actually our NBC CWO. They had a pretty good skit going with it.
ОтветитьGunners
Ответитьape mode engaged
ОтветитьAhh, the mythical being called a Marine Warrant Officer. I actually saw one. He was sitting on hus toocus I the armory with his feet propped up, and he needed a haircut too.
ОтветитьMy uncle is a CWO5 in the army
ОтветитьWOs in the US Army tend to be Apache pilots. Do USMC chopper pilots tend to be WOs?
ОтветитьFriend of mine retired as a WO
We went to the same schools, same squadrons for years.
I got out he stayed in not knowing about his promotions over the years.
I was very proud when I seen him at retirement party.
Outstanding Charles Dowdle.
The few the proud the practically invisible until you need them., the warrant officer Marine
ОтветитьMy father was a gunny and was a BN flying, went to warrant officer school , this was around 64. On day of graduation, they ask them how many wanted to be 2nd lieutenants? He was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant , this is before we got pull into Vietnam, he made it up to captain in 1969 .. when he returned from his 3rd deployment in Vietnam, to cherry point he reverted to CWO4 gunner, it was amazing what you could do back then! My dad had an amazing career..
ОтветитьHow can anotther arm of service be incharge of them?
ОтветитьI’m in the coast guard and to become a warrant officer, you have to be at least a petty officer first class (E-6) and qualify to be a chief(E-7) or be a chief or higher and your packet still needs to be approved, so it’s harder than the marines to be a warrant
ОтветитьWorked for two different CWO-4. Hard ass, professional. Genuinely cared about junior Marines. Learned more about leadership working for them than any program or school. Wouldn t trade it for the world.
ОтветитьAs a grunt enlisted we heard mythical Marines who had been granted this Holy Rank! Only seen one in my Marine life it was said 2nd Lt would bow down in his presence. 😊
ОтветитьThey can be very spooky.. usmc all love.
ОтветитьThis marine is breathing pretty weird. Check that good to go
ОтветитьI was told by my CWO2 to apply when I reup. Unfortunately, I got injured and was Med Discharged.
ОтветитьSomething I have always wondered was what is the difference in roles between a master guns and a warrant officer. Both are experts in their fields and advise and mentor. But my main question was are there really any major differences or do they kinda overlap in roles and responsibilities. (something I always wanted to ask our bat gunner but he was a scary man)
