No. Dooku was way better than Anakin, he lost mainly for two reasons: first, Dooku was told by Palpatine to go easy on Anakin and this penalized him. Second, Anakin tapped into the dark side to gain an advantage, something Dooku would have never expected.

In all of STAR WARS.. this is the worst thing to do to this guy..a JEDI version of the INCREDIBLE HULK..that got more powerful..the more emotional..one way or the other, he got..with few..if any limits.

And then after severing both of Duku's hands Duku politely obliged and knealed down so Anakin could easily behead him.

Thru the experienced gained in clone wars...and the strengthened bond and appreciation he had in his master obi wan, who ironically (obi wan) only got as good as he did (not that he wasnt already a good fighter) because he was training anakin, whose progression, potential, anger, and condensed+urgent training due to his really late start forced and pushed obi wan to stay as good at combat as anakin
