Great timbre ❤
ОтветитьDid I hear that correctly? This synth has the equivalent of an "LFO start position / start position error" knob?
Also is LFO phase the same thing as LFO start position?
Wild using a monologue to MIDI the rev2. Dunno why but’s i find this wild
Ответитьthe THX knob
ОтветитьYou have a beautiful speaking voice with a great accent. It really helps with the concentration as I take in what you are explaining and demonstrating.
ОтветитьEvery time you said slop knob I cried. Regardless this was incredibly useful thank you for this, definitely subscribing!
ОтветитьBoards Of Canada, anyone? 😉 Great tutorial btw!
ОтветитьGreat info. This kind of contribution to the music community is excellent. The high-pitched whine in the shallow water pedal is distracting.
ОтветитьSuper erklärt, vielen Dank 🙏🏼
Ответитьbeautiful, practice and inspiring techniques as always. Thank you Felix 🙏✌️🎹
ОтветитьWasabi mag ich auch.
ОтветитьLovely video. I have the prophet rev 2 but the one with the keys. I’m curious however how you are using the shallow water pedal with it. Isn’t it a mono pedal? How are you running it? I would love to possibly buy the pedal and incorporate it in my setup
Ответитьhow are you sending the vinyl warp and delay vsts to the rev 2?
ОтветитьI really wish my Prophet 6 had more than 1lfo🥲It still sounds beatiful though…
ОтветитьGreat tips not only for the REV2, but synths in general. Putting the reverb before the wow/flutter distortion is a really interesting idea. Great video, thanks!
ОтветитьOh man I came to this video for some cool Rev2 stuff and you have the same setup that I do. The Monologue was my first Synth and I've just recently bought the Rev2. Did not expect that. I liked the ideas you have here. Really great. I was having trouble getting this kind of Vangelis sound out of the synths I use.
ОтветитьThat sweater needs to be ironed...
ОтветитьMater got too much wabi sabi and he regretted it very much so be very careful
ОтветитьCan you please tell me how you can switch between synthesizers I find in order to immediately play, for example, on korg monologue, and then switch to Prophet rev2 8? How it's done? Thank you
Or how to play them both plugged only with midi cable? Thank you
Fantastic step-by-step. Immediately subscribed! Love the creation of a vintage sound next to the slop knob. Fantastiche!
ОтветитьWow! Great to see Agent Murphy got to follow his heart and make his dream of being a synth technician come true after taking down Escobar
ОтветитьFelix, I can't decide between this and the hydra synth. It will be my main synth, I've got an Octatrack and Digitakt and need something that does a lot of sounds. I've got a Keystep 37 and play without PC. Can you help?
Ответитьexcellent
ОтветитьFantastic explainer.
ОтветитьNice patch.
Ответитьawesome video, I strayed a bit from the lesson and ended up with an awesome patch in its own right!
ОтветитьIm having a problem with my rev2, when i create the initial basic program by pressing down +up and hold there is no tempo chosen and i cant change that with turning the tempo knob. can someone help?
ОтветитьGATED SEQUENCER
ОтветитьIs intentionally designed Wabi Sabi, really Wabi Sabi tho? ;)
Ответить"Slop Knob"😂🤌🏿
ОтветитьI’m very grateful for this beautiful teaching. And it sounds lovely! Bless you and thank you Felix.
ОтветитьVery Nice, it recalls me the dreadbox/polyend Medusa Synth recent demo sounds :)
ОтветитьSuper 😜
ОтветитьHe called the rev2 an entry-level synth...idk bout that one man
ОтветитьWho is the cutest employee at Thomann?
ОтветитьThat high pitched sound on the pedal makes it unusable I think. Could it be because of the power supply?
ОтветитьThis video is very well done. Perfect explanation.
ОтветитьNice if you have 3 LFOs...
ОтветитьThanks airing the outstanding video.Reminescent of Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin sounds
Endeavors are prominent.Bliss und danke schön
Good video 👍
ОтветитьI'm surprised you didn't use the distortion, or the delay (etc) that's available in the effects section of the REV2?
Ответитьi want a rev 2 so damn bad to use alongside my juno ds but i can’t afford it right now. hope to get one soon
ОтветитьAbsolutely loving these Felix tutorials, thanks team Thomann! Pure 🔥🔥
ОтветитьI've said it before, and I'll say it again: these segments are a wonderful way to expand the Thomann universe :) Content marketing with Felix behind the wheels never fails, and I actually think he's getting better with every video you guys make. Felix, keep it up! :)
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьPerfectly imperfect
