I've been trying to learn Korean and I'm terrible at following techniques and instructions, but your hacks make sense for self learning! I think I will try to start watching Korean News as a challenge.
ОтветитьKawaii!
Baguette!
Cheeseburger and french fries!
:0 I learned all three now!
かわいい♡♡
ОтветитьDo you work? How long have you been doing this routine? What was your first language you started studying and at what age? I decided to try to learn 4 new languages together. I don't know any of them and going to start with the basics. Do you think this is a good idea? Do you think Im to ambitious?. I am like you just taking it in without writing anything down. Yet! 😂😊
ОтветитьComments are way more helpful and interesting that the video😂
ОтветитьI learned English on my own the way I did it was by listing I like you method and agree 100% we all learned our first language by listing and remembering and that's how I do it now, when I taught myself english I did write down words that were hard for me to say but what I would do is right down the word, what it means, and how I hear it that only made sense to me but that was my way of being able to repeat it correctly
ОтветитьYour thumbnail says "I learned 3 languages without studying" and shows Japanese, French and American flags. But you studied all those languages intensively, according to your other videos. Which is correct?
ОтветитьLearn it the way young kids do. Fun. No books, no grammar, no classrooms.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. It was really helpful for me <33
ОтветитьI know I've been getting on my family's nerves watching movies and videos in French, Spanish and isiZulu. They don't know what's being said and they complain every time they hear me talking to my friends in those languages. But I know why I'm doing it and I'll be the one talking with locals when it's time to go to the countries I want to visit.
ОтветитьGirl you just described my day of learning. A lots of listening then speaking and very important, enjoying. By the way talking to yourself it’s completely normal
Ответить🇧🇷❤👏🏻👍🏻✌🏻Obrigado garota!
Vou tentar... Será que funciona com o Mandarin??👍🏻❤✌🏻
vocabulary in not a word that can be pluralized, it's a category, so it's uncountable
Ответитьうつくしすぎるしゅうちゅうむずかし
ОтветитьDefinitively, that is the point. ❤
Ответитьme who is watching this video as a way of studying (i'm an english learner)
ОтветитьJ'étudie les langues pour 15 années déjà, et je crois que te a manière est la plus pareille à la mienne! Beau travail
ОтветитьThis is one of the things I do with a lot of reading, but most of the time I have to look up every word or phrase I can't understand. It makes it a lot slower getting through a video or a book but that's just the way I am. I like how you said "whatever works for you". I think that's kind of synonymous with what Steve Kauffman says, "whatever motivates you". Staying motivated is the "ONLY" reason anyone learns.
Ответитьshe's so cute :)
Ответить性格良いのが伝わる😊
ОтветитьAlmost each time you used "vocabularies" you had to use "words" or just "vocabulary". And "vocabulary" is a group of words in an uncountable form, like "people", you don't use "peoples", you say "persons". The same for "vocabulary" and "words". Hope this helps you. 😅
ОтветитьDo you complete the full Duolingo tree when starting a new language? Thx!
Ответить!!!aef yum serE
ОтветитьI wouldn't say your method is lazy... You spend a lot of time learning. I am lazy 😂 just studying 15 minutes a day trying to be a polyglot.... I gave up the Japanese because of the writing...😊
ОтветитьYT premium + dual subtitles web extension. I watch short enjoyable native videos at 75% speed, English + French subtitles, with full French transcript off to the right, in a loop. I try to ignore the English, but I'll look down if I have to. I copy/paste portions of the transcript to chatgpt and have it explain any grammar I don't understand. After several loops, I'll turn off subtitles. I like Alice in Paris, season 1 (@alyssehallali)
Btw, HughDécrypte was a great tip. I've been watching French 24 which is way too advanced for me, atm.
Hi Pearly!!! Was scrolling randomly and saw your video and I was like "that's my friend!" :-D This is a great video. Language learning isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be. I'm probably spending around 15+ hours a week on Egyptian Arabic, but it doesn't feel like it because most of that time is listening to podcasts, music, watching videos, reading stories, talking with friends...not taking formal classes or "studying". I love that you're giving Harry Potter a try. I've heard it's a very difficult book to read in a foreign language. I've been debating picking it up in Spanish, but I think there are a lot easier books that would still challenge me.
ОтветитьSi? Quien?... Le preguntó
ОтветитьYour speech very American
Ответитьyour english is better than Singapore english
ОтветитьNone of this sounds lazy to me. That’s a lot of time spent learning
ОтветитьSuper helpful! Do you know any apps/websites that provide audio with text? Kinda like audiobooks for different languages so you can read and hear it at the same time?
ОтветитьI did find this vid useful but it's important to learn basic grammar as she did with Duolingo that's necessary to start your immersion in any language or you'll get frustrated.
I started watching her video today and already finished 3. Ty for sharing your experience
I really want to be a polyglot someday, my native language is Portuguese and I’m learning English and I’m so happy that I can understand everything you said and In 2024 I will try to learn Korean and try to get fluent in English! (my writing is so bad but I’m trying to get better)
ОтветитьAmazing! I agree with that! Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьI was very lucky to find your channel, thank you a lot!🤗
ОтветитьCould you share your favorite potcast, please? I LOVE YOURS VIDEOS? I am watching since El Salvador. I love pupusas!!!
Ответитьi'm watching your video, because you don't speak too fast, and your are so pretty, and motivation me to learning foreight languishes
Ответить"Actually now I'm working on my French and I'm learning two new languages, which is Arabic and Spanish." and here I'm struggling with learning one.
ОтветитьI just wonder you do never make a note for vocabulary, phrasing or something like that? What you just do is looking up the words you want to know and that’s all?!
Ответитьcan you please tell me how can i learn chinese
Ответитьmy mother language is Urdu and Arabic is mat be easy for me
