hey andrew, is there any way around to use the volume+ button to zoom in and volume- button to zoom out in camera & video camera?

fyi - you can change the type of professional shot you shoot by holding the RAW icon at the top right

Where is the periscope camera ?? I have not seen something on this or a getting to make it work.
I put my finger over the lense and move through all the settings and found it to do noting

Hey ive tried taking pictures with pro raw but a lot of times it shows the mp of the photo at 36 mp instead of 48, is there a reason for that?

I can zoom to 1.9x on my 15 pro and get 24 megapixels but when I go 2x is is 12. There is no reason why 2x can't be 24 megapixels since that i half of 48. They gave that to the regular phone but the Pro. Come on Apple

The iPhone 15 Pro’s are definitely for professional photographers, videographers and cinematographers; Cinematic, ProRaw, ProRes, ProRes Log with a Pro Neural Engine processor Dedicated to camera performance that learns how you use your camera for even better performance and enhancements.

Even though ProRes was good enough when it comes to editing colors, contrast and shadow for my videos, ProRes log offers a wider range of dynamics and color control, now I can include actual proper sharpening and detailing to the video without noise and distortion. Unfortunately though, RED owns the rights to true authentic RAW video recording And Apple lost the court battle with them

What I need now from Apple, is ProRaw for portrait, and ProRes/Log for Cinematic. When it comes to photography the new 15 Pro is giving me 12MP high (24MP) versus 12MP low that’s on the iPhone 12 Pro. With the 48MP camera you get extended dynamic range as opposed to high dynamic range with the 24MP camera. This essentially means more processing time for 24MP photos but this instead results in "a bit more dynamic range into Deep Fusion".

The Goldilocks moment here is getting the "extra dynamic range from the 12MP high and the detail transfer that comes in from the 48MP," giving you that 'just right' image. Another advantage that one would get shooting at 24MP would be zero shutter lag.

is it true that selfie camera in 15pro max and generally the 15series is not showing the selfies vivid,vibrant and realistic, but it kinda messes up with the colors and makes them like grey-ish? any 15 pro max users' opinions?

The 15 and 14 have the same sensor. Why doesn’t the 14 have the digital crop “lens”?

Excellent review! Thanks as well for using the term "times" when referring to the different lens settings. So many so-called reviewers insist on interptreting to X as the letter X and not really understanding that it should be used in the mathematical multiplication sense. As soon as I hear that, I don't bother watching any further...

Excellent video. One small note - you can actually change raw formats from camera app - just press on raw format and 4 choices will appear on top menu.
