Trick that they don't tell you about marsh mellows:
When the heat molocules (I totally know how to spell it...) collide with the food molocules they create air. With simple laws of science if the outside becomes air it will explode so therfore the air is inside and the marshmellow only expandes because the marshmellow is being filled with air❤❤❤hope that helped!
