You don’t understand the speed to do these runs and style of music changes the way you shape your mouth
You literally can’t do any of these

Pathetic to call urself a "vocal coach" when ur a very strong "nasal talker"

U are very uncultured and it shows.

Btw those notes weren't "out of tune" they were perfect and you couldn't match them if u tried... 😅

Just cause it doesn't fit with ur western style of "singing" if u can even call that, doesn't mean it's wrong ur out of tune.

I've found ur video again after a few years and watched it again but the dislike still stands strong.

Its so hard to see you disrespecting this thousands of years old singing practise just cause u have no clue what ur talking about.

And btw yeah the shaking of the microphone obviously does something 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ u ever had a microphone in your hand??

they're all exaggerating .. i would suggest Majida el Roumi , Fayrouz and Abir Nehmeh . the Lebanese music is simple and modest but very powerful technically ... Arabs like to exaggerate , Lebanese are the opposite which makes them closer and more liked by westerners

Howdy!

The individual who sent you this collection has no taste of what is good Arabic music. These artists or vocalists are not well known except for 3. Also, these voices are very young and out of the line of the real Arabic music/schools. Many of us Arabs don't listen to them.
I dont blame you on your reactions towards the vocals, you were very polite and honest. I really hope someone would send you real Arabic music vocalists like Khadum Alsahir, Faizruz, Om Kalthoom, Raja Bolemleeh....etc as the collection in this received video made me ashamed to listen to them as an Arabic poet and critic.
Stay amazing! Thank you again!

First you need to listen more to Arabic music until your ears gets used to it so you can analyze better, and its not bad to educate yourself on arabic music and not judge it from one angle, what you did was eating sushi with spoon when you have to eat it with chop sticks.
Not even all of them are arabic songs, some of them are not arabic songs.
You did not even talk much about the techniques, you were talking more about facial expressions which is something shallow to do or say. This makes me doupt your credibility in judging western music as well, after all you are not that honest.

So happy to see Arabic music/style being showcased on your wonderful channel! Although I would recommend watching/reacting to some full performances of well known artists ( for example, a Mai Farouk performance with the National Arab Orchestra doing songs like Enta Omri or Alf Leila w Leila) as this particular clip you've reacted to is merely a random compilation of artists riffing and thus doesn't cover the full range of musicality, complexity and emotions that Arabic music brings to the table.

it not out of tunes , just arabic tunes is different because of the arabic language , there is more sounds and pronunciations that make arabes hoarseness unique, so they hit more notes / tunes . and the techniques vary from country to country so it a really vast world for a coach to understand, arabe singers find non arabe music easy and they can easily handle the western style, thats a fact.. you can see it in the westerns competitions .. , if you cant understand something doesn't mean it not the right way, you are just not open mind enough to critic your own coaching.
that's the problem with most westerns, we understand you , your language , your music , your culture, your history , your books and so on .. but you know nothing about us , most arabes speaks at least 2 or 3 different languages, most westerns speaks only their local language .. so i invite with all respect the western community to approach us, dont close your minds .. dont follow the propaganda.
the amount of pre judgments you made is an evidence .. dont make the standards of your culture a judgement for all human kind , it doesnt work that way.. hope you dont find my comment offensive.. but someone has to say it, for the sake of connection and building bridges.
sorry for getting sensitive

your comment about cheb mami's singing that you wouldn't accept in your studio, what cheb mami is doing is over 2k years old. I think you and the people at your studio should learn more, and get more cultured about supersets of music I'm sure you are unaware of and would benefit from instead of your unqualified opinion.

Disregarding the fact that arab singing is much more than what she's portraying, what she's judging is not one style of riffs only but she's comparing several types of singing styles (called lyrical maqamat) that aren't supposed to be compared to one another and as she has noticed differ alot in technique.
