Such a great video

I was unfortunate enough to actually see this movie in the theatre before coming across this video. To be more precise, I came across this video in my desperate search for something that would help me feel again after being subjected to this sickroom stench of a movie. When the lights came up in the cinema, I turned to my wife and said, "I am soooo sorry..."

"Scott Pilgrim but for Assholes" there almost isn't a statement in history more correct than that one to describe this movie

To be honest, this review kinda makes me want to see the movie. I was working at a movie theater when it came out, and I didn’t watch it because it looked dumb and I was sick of Adam Sandler as well.
But now it sounds like a disaster that must be seen and dissected from multiple angles. I have an urge now to watch about 12 more reviews of the movie (especially the longest, most in-depth analyses I can find),and then watch the thing for myself.
However, I have recently learned my lesson from Resident Evil. I never played the games, but I always liked the first movie. I still like the first Resident Evil movie; fuck you all. And I have hated every subsequent movie, but I have seen them all except “The Final Chapter” and “Welcome to Raccoon City” (which I know is a reboot) because I have more experience working at a movie theater than Jeremy Scott.
Anyways, I recently learned that the first 5 Resident Evil movies were on HBOMax, because they were in the “Last Chance” category on the HBOMax app. I figured I could marathon them and either confirm their terribleness, or marshal a defense of them. But god damn if the wind in my sails didn’t get completely deflated while watching the second movie. That movie was so bad, it may take me a year or two to decide to rewatch the third one. That movie created an annoying reporter character to be super annoying, give the other characters the idea to spread the word about how evil the umbrella corporation is, be laughed at for being super annoying, and then be eaten to give the audience a moment to enjoy the part when the super annoying reporter lady gets eaten. But then they made Jill Valentine more shitty and annoying than the super annoying reporter character!
These movies make me want to pirate all my entertainment from now on. (But I wouldn’t do that for the same reasons that I wouldn’t steal a car or download a pizza. Though cool as hell, “piracy is wrong.”)

When you weigh 600+ pounds and you have to find a different coping mechanism then eating yourself to death.

I would like to think that this movie didn’t do so well because of this review.

I still come back to this review when I feel like having someone else express my internal rage.

Awwww. Back when bob was fun, he really was a master of ripping into things.

Missed: a perfect opportunity to use that speech from “Billy Madison.”

0/10, “I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.” Dunno if Sandler (as Madison) saying “a simple ‘wrong’ would have sufficed, but okay” would have also worked as a punchline, if nothing more than it gives Sandler the last (very lousy) word.

This is the review that brought me here, and now I’m wondering why I’m here in the first place.
