Even though most these locations are far from the larger cities, they are worth including in your Scottish Highlands itinerary ⛰️

the walk around the Quiraing is a loop of 6.8 km. Or you can walk the first hour and return and still get to see amazing views of the Trotternish Ridge, displaying stunning hills, stone pinnacles and amazing cliffs!

🎥 Used in many films and TV 📺 the Quiraing has been featured in Macbeth (2015), Stardust (2007), Snow White and the Hunstman (2012), 47 Ronin (2013), Transformers (2017) and many more!

3️⃣ Eilean Donan Castle
🏰 This iconic castle is located 4 hrs from Edinburgh and can be reached by car or tour company.

🎥 Used in many films and TV 📺 Eilean Donan was featured in James Bond The World is not Enough, Made of Honor, Highlander (TV show), Entrapment, The Princess Switch and many others!

4️⃣ Drummond Castle Gardens
📍 Located 1:17 hrs from Edinburgh, or 56 mins from Glasgow, this stunning garden was featured in the TV show Outlander, and the movie Rob Roy.
🏰The castle cannot be toured inside, but the Gardens are more than enough to enjoy and explore!

5️⃣ Luss
📍 This quiet and charming little village is only 44 mins from Glasgow and located on the banks of the beautiful Loch Lomond.
🏘️ Luss was featured in the long running Scottish Soap Opera 📺 from 1994 - 2003!

6️⃣ Glenfinnan Viaduct
📍 Located 3 hrs from Glasgow or 3:30 hrs from Edinburgh, this bridge and area is most famously known for being featured in Harry Potter 🪄, but has also been on The Crown 👑, and many others!
