There is a difference between plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery. Plastic surgeons have extensive training and experience. Cosmetic surgeons have less of both. Often, cosmetic surgeons come from other specialties such as obstetrics and gynecology or dermatology. Never have plastic surgery performed by anyone other than a board-certified plastic surgeon. The certification should be one awarded by the American Society of Plastic Surgery. You can also check to see if a physician has been successfully sued for malpractice by checking a state's business records regarding malpractice action settlements and judgments. You can also search online records at local courthouses to see if a physician has been successfully sued. Finally, ask knowledgeable individuals for recommendations for plastic surgeons to perform the procedures in which you are interested.

Never go to a “cosmetic” surgeon. They are not qualified plastic surgeons and don’t know wtf they’re doing!

Surgery's should only be done in Hospitals. I am guessing the Surgeon had no Hospital Affiliations and maybe not even Board Certified. Awful.

This was not the right place to go to. She should have went to a reputable hospital and research the surgeon if they are board certified. A place like this in a strip mall should give u an indication that you should stay away from it.

Stay away FROM Dr. Corneno and Dr. Michael Davis from Stars Plastic Surgery in San Antonio Texas.

I had a Pannus and breast reduction at the same time. The doc who did it lied and said he'd tighten the muscle and called it a tummy tuck. He didn't tighten my muscle. He just cut loose skin and I was in severe pain. 2 years after that, I finally went somewhere else for a full tummy tuck, it almost killed me. My muscles were tightened but I almost died. I went into hypovolemic shock and went septic. I went in just on time and they cured me. I was in the emergency hospital for 7 days. I even got crappy covid there. The illness was due to a place like this and unsanitary. The wound got infected and they just tossed me out after. I had to go to the hospital twice after. The doctor refused to see me. It was in San Antonio. Stay away from Stars plastic surgery in San Antonio and stay away from Corenjo.

I had to get blood the first time and the second time I had the surgery, because I was lied to the first time and the skin being so tight, with gap muscles was so painful and so I did it to ease my pain. When I woke up from my tummy tuck from Stars plastic surgery, the pain was worse than when I had my baby. I felt like the pain medicine they injected me with didn't touch the pain. I got sick that night and went to the ER. Two weeks later, I fainted. I went into the emergency room and almost passing out, they didn't even take my medical info, they said it was a dire emergency and not to even talk. They hooked me up to IVs and told me my lips were blue and I was white as a sheet.
I feel bad for this woman here.

And horrible for her kids.

You need to pay extra and go to a regular hospital. There are still risks but don't go to these strip mall places. Or even surgery centers that kick you out the same day.

As I said, I was in the hospital for a week and thank Jesus Christ for letting me live. Thank the Lord God. I mean it felt awful.

My wound was infected. The doctor at Stars plastic surgery had unclean hands and when my mom went to pick me up, she said they had me laying on a bed with medical tools around me. And then said I didn't feel right and so went to two hospitals.

It was not my fault because these doctors do lie a lot and do anything to try to get you to go to them and make false promises. They even act like nobody has ever gotten sick with them. Believe me, I asked. Do not go near Dr. Corneno or Dr. Michael Davis. Michael Davis also botched others. He's terrible and lies about his experience.

In the ER, they had to try all these vains... Because I was so dehydrated the vains were not bleeding when they tried to get the IVs in. I'm working on suing these two doctors. And pressing charges. Telling a patient lies like how was told to me, is malpractice. Pretending you'll do one thing and doing another. And also misleading about the surgery center and lying about nobody getting sick... I spoke to patients in both places who tell me otherwise. These doctors are criminals. They see vulnerable people and take advantage of them. It's the truth.

Who knows why the HELL they switched doctors on this woman. If she was out while they switched, that's even worse. What a nightmare for her family. RIP. Terrible.

Because of the location of the place i am 100% sure the "surgeon" was not a BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON, which is the reason why they aren't allowed to operate inside any hospital, therefore, that is why this all turned out the way it did....ladies please do your research and always ask your surgeon if he/she is board certified and where do they perform surgeries!

Hospitals have an entire CRASH CODE TEAM! ….with a physician/cardiologist phlebotomist respiratory therapist crowding around the patient perform a test that can’t be done in the strip mall. Surgery at the hospital strip malls are for PetCo!

These families need to understand there are ALWAYS risks and complications involved, not always is it the DR . To blame

Emm this is a BBL not a tummy tuck! I feel bad someone dies over plastic surgery especially over making her butt bigger.. but the title said tummy tuck and this is completely inaccurate sigh (I cant believe someone died like this, I know that theres large blood vessels in the butt but never imagined this, so very sad!

First off rip to this young lady but like J Cole said God already put his paint brush on us. There is always complications when doing man made surgeries. This is the price we pay when we say God you did a great job on my appearance but I think I can do better. Please everyone think about this really hard and ask yourself if you have kids. Is my selfish decision of wanting to look better worth leaving my kids parent less? No shade at anyone but this is real life and nothing in this world is 100% except for death & taxes.

Before u do any surgery do your research on the doctors and the hospital u want it done they should of never switched doctors halfway through it that’s were they went wrong as well
