ОтветитьTruck drivers jobs are losing value daily, Last year I was working full time budgeting groceries, unable to afford date nights, and missing time with my kids just to make extra money. These days I learn how to make money online, Using my job to finance my goals, You can't be an employee forever everyone should know, homeschooling and making profits every week should be the goal.

ОтветитьHey man, just found your channel, been driving a couple years and it's perfect for me as I'm a debt free SINK homeowner. Eventually I'll save up a pile of cash and something like hotshot might be a good place to start... The company I drive for was recently sold and I went from a loaded-only low cpm position to a significant cpm jump for every mile I drive, more than doubling my income. Thank God. Never happens right? LOL...I LOVED that you paid your driver per mile no matter what. I agree, I feel it's the right thing to do and jw if that is still the case today for you as the business owner? (Obv I'm looking eventually to not be on the road and for as much as I'd enjoy the extra cash, paying whoever I hire WELL is important to me. Reap whatchya sow kinda thing. Thanks for the info either way, it's MUCH appreciated bro. Subbed. Good luck, stay safe sir and God bless!

ОтветитьI'm really thinking of doing something other than work in a warehouse the rest of my life. Instead of working for crumbs, I want to be my own man and make serious cash in a week.
ОтветитьI'm just starting, can you help with who can I get insurance from and how much is the insurance
ОтветитьI'm curious how much you pay per mile. I have a friend who asked me to research. She wants to get into this business.
ОтветитьWhere is the checklist
ОтветитьLemme tell y'all something after 1 year in business. Everyone who asks me this is what I say....your gonna drive 100k miles a year at least that alone is 30 to 50 thousand dollars in fuel cost. Plus all your maintenance house rent and bills commercial insurance and everything. My expenses this year were close to 75 thousand dollars. Loads on average pay 1 to 1.50 a mile if your starting small don't expect to get over a dollar a mile. So at 100k miles that's 100 grand net minus 75k in expenses don't leave you much. This business is not as easy as it may seem. You spend thousands of dollars a year on just tires oil changes twice a month or more plus repairs and other maintenance your commercial insurance will start off around 1500 a month mine has now gone down to 800 a month for my second year with no claims. You will touch lots of money but it goes flying right away like it's got wings. My second year in business my goal is to never run for less then 1.50 a mile. I started this with a half ton Ecoboost f150 and a 22ft bumper pull flatbed you wanna talk about struggle I went through it with that setup. Now I have a older f350 and a 40ft gooseneck that I'm going into my second year with double the trailer I'm hoping for higher profit this year. But nobody is gonna dive into this business and laugh to the bank you will have lots to learn and lots of connections that you need to establish. This is not a get rich quick business but in reality no business is get rich quick especially in the first year or so. I'm still proud I maintained my business paid all my bills with just enough extra to get by and didn't fail completely. I talked to lots of shippers and I would say 50 percent of hotshots quit or fail in first year because you will get slapped around good.
ОтветитьStop making videos in the truck driving down the road. That is not a good role model for the trucking industry. You are what is known as a distracted driver. You were looking straight on into the camera, you should be constantly checking the mirrors. you didn't even see that car that came up in the passing lane. This will be brought to court and used against you if you are involved in an accident hopefully no one lost their life but even property damage, plus if I was your insurance carrier and watched this I would send you a warning and notice of cancellation. This is not how you drive safely people! He might had good content but please don't do this in your own truck. You are paid as a driver and it is a full time job behind the seat when you are driving. Please people please.
