That's an Excellent Product...👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thankyou for Shairing... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
God Bless... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Not secure!
ОтветитьYou will soon find out, it will dig into your stomach
ОтветитьI bought this setup but it’s too small for my tripod to clamp down. What kind of tripod do you have?
ОтветитьThe peak design clips scratched the heck out of my camera.
ОтветитьI think the setup is brilliant. I've purchased all the falcam gear as well as the peak design straps but as they all start to trickle in, I'm starting to realize they may not work with the small rig black mamba cage. I also bought a small rig ARCA Swiss clamp that goes on a Manfrotto 501 video tripod head but I believe the camera will be turned 90 degrees to the left or right so that when you tilt the head the camera will rotate instead of tilt.
????
I just do this with my peak design clip. You just put the little alien limbs underneath the clip's main plate.
ОтветитьThere is only no jiggle or swing when you're using the cross body setup with the PD slide strap. I disliked that setup as it required constant adjustment for it to be in shooting mode (looser) or resting mode (tighter). Let's see you raise the camera to your eye in the tighter setup. Let's see how the camera behaves if the strap is not tight. It will swing around wildy.
So basically this is good for shooters that like to constantly disconnect their cameras. I find when you're shooting a 10 hour event, nobody wants to constantly disconnect their straps and you don't want to force yourself to carry the camera, lens, and flash very long either as that will fatigue your fingers real quick. I'd also say a strap is an excellent last resort on a potential drop. Always strap for me.
I use a smallrig full baseplate for the r6ii (side removed) and connect one strap to the bottom of it and one to the standard spot on the shutter side. This way it hangs comfortably on my right shoulder with my right hand fully in place. You can switch to supporting with your left hand as well to give your shoulder and right hand a break. This way is by far the fastest and simplest setup I've seen yet to shoot and to return to rest.
total trash, some gullible brand boi will buy tho
ОтветитьI have been using the Tilta swissarc plate with quick disconnect. Best camera thing I have ever bought.
Ответитьwhat about on your belt on pants? does it fit on the that?
ОтветитьExcept if you use an L bracket.
Ответитьi need that one.. could u give it to me bro..
ОтветитьOrdered this just after seeing this video. To about 2 months to get it even on Amazon, but it's REALLY nice. Used it this weekend when I shot an event. I have a PD plate and it works great! Thanks for the great idea!!
Ответитьso its not swiss arca?
ОтветитьWhat if I have an L mount attached to my camera permanently?
ОтветитьThis is so much clickbait. This does not make much of a difference
ОтветитьI find the straps that came with the camera work perfectly well.
ОтветитьUhuh... And now put your camera on a tripod and discover that you have to change plates...
ОтветитьOh my God, an opportunity to sell more crap. There is nothing wrong with the OEM camera straps that are included with the camera body. Just hook them up, use them and be done with them. You don't need to spend all this extra money on accessories. It's not going to make you a better photographer
Ответитьdo you find your shoulder strap @2.08 has a little but play in it like the plate that attaches to the camera is slack inside the holder?
Ответитьusb-c
ОтветитьNope, I trust only original old style, for my D6
ОтветитьYou were never using your camera strap wrong - stop it. It was designed to be used that way. Using the strap that comes with Canon cameras isn't "wrong", but those specifically suck regardless of how you connect them.
ОтветитьOne question: is it possible to use plate in addition to camera cage, e.g. SmallRig Black Mamba (R6 Mark II)?
ОтветитьInteresting point of view - thanks.
I hated camera bodies hanging around my neck, banging into my chest, so years ago, I swapped to Canon's E2 wrist strap and haven't looked back.
The only down side is that, the Arca Swiss mount, screwed in below it, is slightly cumbersome and more inclined to chafe against my jeans/trousers. Its not a big enough problem to force me back to a 5DIV dangling around my neck.
Considered this but since my main body is a Z9 I don’t trust it.
ОтветитьThanks Falcam! (we’re all off Peak Design these days. Peak’s CEO is a jerk & is only for the fraction of one percenters who also happen to be jerks.)
ОтветитьSuperb, thank you very much for that great idea to solve a universal problem.
ОтветитьBlack Rapid is all I need - especially good for carrying two cameras.
ОтветитьThe PD red anchor dots are just as fast and they're already all over your camera right, even with the plates? You don't appear to have removed them, so are the plates really saving you anything?
ОтветитьThe peak design's buckle and anchor is also available for sale.
You can attach your default camera strap to it and make it a quick release version with the peak design. :D
If you have the Peak Design Capture Clip already, you can create something similar. You need a piece of cloth or leather to put inside the capture clip to make sure it doesn't tighten all the way together. Then you simply take it apart, hook two such peak design loops around the two screw mounts, which look like pipes, put in the cloth or leather, fold it if you have to, and put it together. The purpose of the leather or cloth is to make sure that the peak design loops aren't "chewed" into by the capture clip, but should instead be able to rotate freely around their anchor points.
ОтветитьI just use a wriststrap for d750.
ОтветитьI had one of these round thingies fail on me and break and I dropped my R8 with 100-400 lens to the ground :/ fortunately nothing serious happened except for a small bump in lens outer body
ОтветитьWhile these camera connectors look cool and certainly serve a great purpose, I just don't like them. As a landscape and bird shooter, I prefer to just leave an L-bracket attached (or in the bag) for both landscape and portrait orientations on a tripod if needed. As for a strap, Nikon makes a super thin one that has been around since the 1970's. It's a plain black (there's also a yellowish version that I find quite garish) with no logo and is super lightweight so the wind makes no problem and it does not add to the weight you're carrying. These straps are like 20 USD. I've personally been using these straps for 20 years and they've worked out great for me. You buy one and it never goes bad. I've actually had one for 20 years, and just swap it to the next new camera, tho I did get a brand-new one when I upgraded to mirrorless last year. No need for me to change.
ОтветитьI shamelessly copied this idea to the letter. It is certainly the best solution I have found. I now can sling the strap around a shoulder, it hangs properly even with a telephoto lens. Also I can detach the camera and mount to a tripod all without changing anything! Result!😊😊😊
ОтветитьDo not use the Peak Design tabs. There are plenty of reports of the cord parting ways from the tab, and any attached camera crashing to the ground. Just a friendly warning.
ОтветитьI really like my Peak Design setup, and I use two anchors on the plate that attach underneath the camera body. It's basically the same approach you took with the Falcon. However, I've heard a lot about the Falcon, so I might want to give it a try as well.
Ответитьso now you have 3 quick release mount/strap.... how stupid can one become😂😂
ОтветитьIm using the small rig strap and handle for my rs4 and surprised that i could use the same strap on the small rig base plate of my camera though it is not as stable as what you have but it is fun to use only 1 strap for both. I do like the idea of attaching your camera on your bag and some on their belt, but pratically it is faster to shoot and direct on a strap coz attaching on a belt or a bag may lead to accidents of falling due to stress or fatigue accumulated through out the day, or simply i have sweaty hands or got distracted.
ОтветитьI still prefer the plates from Really Right Stuff or Kirk that have a QD socket and then straps (originally from Magpul). Go search for “QD camera straps” and you will see what I mean.
ОтветитьIm so doing this thanks
ОтветитьThe only problem, for Zf users, is that most of us or many of us added a grip extension that mounts as a plate. So...
ОтветитьDid this after I saw this video, I love it. I'm using the falcam clip with pgytech camera strap and plate 🔥
ОтветитьI use for my camera system the SpiderPro-Camera-Holder. It is in a belt format, that gives the opportunity to store your camera at the hip. Love the system, been using it since 3 years now
ОтветитьWill it work with a smallrig Arrcaswiss caage?
ОтветитьSurely this should be marked as a clear advert for these products.
ОтветитьWork spend work spend work spend DIE:
omg have I just wasted my life buying expensive brits of plastic??? making someone else rich in the process 😂😂😂
