I use Discord for game design and prep, at least early on. It's so easy to organize and pull up quickly. Notion is great too.
ОтветитьNice video man! Do you perchance have any tips for actual prep in these notebooks? I`m currently using One Note and it's severely lacking. I would love to see a "How to prep an adventure (pre written adventure) video!
ОтветитьI have a lecturnum with grid
Dungeon/map on the left key on the right
Each session gets a 2 page spread
That was not a journal. That’s a chronicle
ОтветитьThis is actually a really good video! Subscribe or die!
Ответить😂 Very good video
Ответитьlove this video, learn a ton of things to improve my notebook use.
Ответитьwhere did you get the fat one with the dots in please
, i love that one ,
I always glue an envelope in a book without storage. Sometimes I just write things on scraps that I can’t be bothered pasting in.
That tip about highlighting edges is new to me. Might save my money on sticky notes.
Moleskine, 5.5" x 8", gridded paper, with a Pilot G2 blue 0.7mm pen. I'm picky
ОтветитьAll round great life advice, thanks Al!
ОтветитьI love how you narrated this 😂
ОтветитьSo much speech for so little content. Just get to the point.
Ответитьi refuse to die so i have subscribed instead! great video and you've reawakened a love for journals i forgot i had :D
ОтветитьI'll make your life easier. Buy a TUL notebook, they are fully customizable with soft and hard covers, different type and color pages, dividers and organizers, they come in a5 or a7 sizes, and with the ability to add and remove as many pages as you need. This is quite literally the only notebook I use for roleplaying and running games. It is also the notebooks that have gotten me through 4 different certifications.
Ответить"Then look at this tiny little piece of shit"
Hahaha thanks for the video and the laughs
Highlighter idea!
ОтветитьMy prefered note book: dotted lines, a5-format, soft, 60-65 paged thin.
ОтветитьLove dots…most universal. Draw like they don’t exist, treat them like lines when drawing words and of course dungeons…
Ответитьbinder for the win. I always switch notebooks so I gotta rip out pages. also having just loose sheets of paper are the easiest to write on.
ОтветитьSubscribe or die?! Glad I'm subscribed!
