An Austrian friend of mine once found some Natter bits in the mountains. Written on the tail was something like "If found, please ring the nearest police station."
Ответитьyes true
ОтветитьLate war Germany just loved finding unique ways to kill test pilots
ОтветитьNatter could have been given primacy because no need for runway as me 163. V2 was successful as a mobile launch system not as originally planned ve bunkers silo could be bombed mobile v2 never had this defect from australia
Ответить10 to 25hrs jet engine life me262. Understand me262 life was about the same hrs
ОтветитьAtomic Bomb was the only wonder weapon needed to turn the war in favour of Reich , but this only wonder weapon was not invented by Reich’s scientists
ОтветитьArnament...
ОтветитьIn many ways it's just a bad ground to air missile.
And as has been shown in the 1960's ground to air missiles do not mean air superiority is worthless because their range is short and they can miss.
That is also a thing with the Natter. If it didn't shoot something down because of either pilot error or mechanical error you just thrown away resources. You also still have the matter that bombers have escorts and unlike a modern missile which is a very small target moving at over mach 5 the Natter isn't so fast or so small that it's impossible to hit.
Of all the wonderweapons only really the V1 kind of had some merits as it was relatively cheap to make though as the British learned it's weaknesses it lost a lot of that effectiveness. The V2 though really was just a waste because the average damage of every V2 launch was way lower than the cost of the missile. Even today that is still the case which is why bombers and artillery are still around. Cruise and tactical ballistic missiles are not used for area bombardment but for strategic strikes.
Natter is a snake type

ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьWhen really would they add Ba349 to Warthunder?
ОтветитьEvery pilot's nightmare
ОтветитьConsidering the BA-349 needed to be close to industrial areas, why didn't they mount the launch rails on smokestacks?
ОтветитьWonder which was more dangerous- Natter or Me 163 Comet- check Comet for it's dangers/hazards!!!
ОтветитьProject V3
ОтветитьWing area was like 4.7/m2, and weight 2000kg. Soo wing loading of this aircraft was like 425kg/m2😄

ОтветитьHonestly, is it a requirement to have one or more speech impairment to narrate these documentaries. For crying out loud, learn
to talk properly. I have to turn down the sound. 'Arnament'..... what the hell is arnament.
What does that mean about the insignias "is wrong", does it mean the photo is photo shopped, an outright fake, if so who added it and when. Weird fact to just toss in there at the end with very vague context.
