but what are the quirks and features?
ОтветитьSwapping an engine like that for anything else should be considered a crime
I loved every moment of this video. Bravo
That sound is just to racy for the modest shape of the body , its a proper sleeper ! 😂😂😂
Ответитьtook me 18 seconds to fall in love
ОтветитьAwesome in many, many ways. I was actually slack-jawed watching this. But... while I understand the point, I could have done without the "labor union" remark. I was in awe of the difference between how cars (and every other manufactured thing) were made then compared to now. Unions may have their part in stifling the raw artistry of those times, but... so does the Corporate/OnePercent. To single out unions for the fall from grace seems like unfortunate editorializing on an otherwise extraordinary video. Still going to subscribe... this video was incredibly eye-opening about a beautiful, singular work of automotive art.
ОтветитьDoes anyone else watch this over and over? I have watched this at least 10 times.
ОтветитьTerrible video. 15 minute video about a car and you don't even show any decent angles of if. Not a single shot of a side profile.
ОтветитьDon't tell anyone, especially Enzo, it reminds me of a Facel Vega.
ОтветитьWow, if it were to come up for sale, could it do the impossible and almost match current 250GTO auction pricing? My bet? The auction house would slightly underprice the reserve and then an all out assault bidding war would break out between two or more billionaires...This would definitely set a record for a pre-60's era Ferrari.
ОтветитьMan... the writer of these videos... is GREAT
Ответитьimagine the restorers face when he openned the bonnet to find a supercharged corvette engine
ОтветитьYour voice is so calming and soothing🌄👌🏻Great videos
Ответитьgreatest sound on wheels?, worst face on wheels?
ОтветитьSTICK SHIFT➕LUXURY🏁✅
ОтветитьBeautiful, thank you Derek
ОтветитьLady Penélope drove a limousine version of this car......... 😼😎❤️🌹..... Parker was her bodyguard/Schaeffer .....
ОтветитьSuch an opulent, elegant motorcar. Nothing comes even close to an old Ferrari.
ОтветитьI owned a Fiat 128 which had an OHC 4 cylinder engine designed by Lampredi. It was like a baby Ferrari engine---those rich sounds and it really revved. A wonderful little car, practical and extremely fun to drive. The made millions of them, but few survive today.
ОтветитьAmazing video; I love your content. Do you know Davide Cironi?
ОтветитьThe mechanical element, with the sheer beauty of the Ferrari 🤯!!
EV's 🤦🏾♂️
The narrative was poetry and proof that time travel is possible. I learned something today. Thank you.
ОтветитьI totally agree Derek, this is peak V12. I've never heard another 12-pot that sounds this good. The exhaust arrangement must be incredibly unique as it sounds almost V8 or straight-8-like at various engine speeds. And the car itself is utterly gorgeous - that interior, with that detailing, like the leather drawstring gaiter with wooden toggles... stunning. Vignale is a criminally underrated coachbuilder.
ОтветитьI was scrolling down all the models ever produced on the Ferrari official website and i stumbled on this car. This documentary compliments the car. Chapau
ОтветитьAnybody know why the cooling fan is visible through the grill of the car an isn't hidden by a radiator?
ОтветитьWhat does ISSIMI stand for.
ОтветитьThank you for putting this video together. These are the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. Works of art. Vignale. Now I know :)
ОтветитьIt’s nice to see old cars returning to the road restored or not , just enjoy them …..yesssss🙏😀😎😱🇺🇸
Ответить"Supercharged Corvette engine swap." I'm a lifelong diehard Corvette guy and even I gasped when I heard that lol.
Ответить❤ Toyota Corolla GR ❤️
ОтветитьThat car has had quite the journey
ОтветитьI've only ever fallen in love with 2 cars in all my life. This car became a very close 3rd. Maybe because it's out of reach, but good god is this is candy to my eyes and ears.
ОтветитьCan't applaud you enough for these videos. Without exposure to these cars, we (future generations of car collectors / enthusiasts) wouldn't value them. This is a perfect example of a car that should be treasured and valued for the future.
ОтветитьI'm more of a British auto maker man myself. Jaguar/Aston Martin/McLaren. But this car is stunningly beautiful. Timeless design. And the sound of that engine is somethin elwe
ОтветитьSo, you like the car, then? 😉
I've never even heard an actual Lampretti V12, but it sounds fantastic in this recording. The only Ferrari I've ever driven was a 360 Spyder, which had a 3.6 L NA V8. That sounded great. But it was not a Lampretti V12.
Anyone know which road this is? It looks like it's nearby -- I'm in the Bay Area of California.
ОтветитьMan that car is awesome, it has eyebrows and from the front you can just picture a New York accent saying “AYYY I’M WALKING HERE IM WALKING!”
ОтветитьThese old Ferraris put the new ones to shame as far as in design
ОтветитьThat grunty Lampredi engine in 5 litre form powers the incredibly rare and expensive 1964-66 Ferrari 500 Superfast. (37 produced in total)
They say it is superb to drive.
Imagine living with that noise daily they say perfection isn’t real but I’ve just heard it.
ОтветитьI almost threw up when I heard "supercharged corvette engine swap and a repaint in purple"
ОтветитьHard to image that sort of beauty in the early 50s
ОтветитьV6 , turbochargers , ELECTRIC ? hahaha anyone ? compared to this ? even the kids will understand .....
ОтветитьWhat a lovely car. Thanks for the upload.
ОтветитьThat's a sick sound!!
