We have a teepee tent just like that, the cost was the seller to us! No problems so far but will use a tarp if rain is in the forecast!👍👍👍

Papa Bruce, did you spray waterproof your tent?
I just bought a teepee tent and want to keep the dew out of it.
Does waterproofing keep out the dew.
Thanks

Thanks for posting this! I'm about 90% sold on the idea of getting one of these tents, everything is booked solid as far as small cabins go this summer so it looks like if I'm going to head for the mountains (NH White Mountains) it's going to be in a tent, I've got a tent somewhere and I'm going to see how that thing is before investing in one of these. Only one or two people will be in it so hopefully I'll have plenty of room, I write so I need something I can set up a small table and chair in to use my laptop.

How is it to take down and put inside the bag? I camp by myself with my 2 dogs and I’m no spring chicken. Lol, I play solitaire all the time but I do it in my tablet because I have tons of books downloaded thus I can read too since I go for 2-3 weeks at a time and most likely I won’t even get a phone signal.

I've bought 3 of these over the years. They all still work just fine.

Looked at one today but didn’t pull the trigger on it. I’m intrigued by the teepee shape and the ability to stand up in it. The current model looks exactly like yours. Need to think on it more. They are no longer 50 bucks, they are $86 now. I’m cheap these days. Would you give $100 for one after tax? just curious lol

Have same tent. Ive turned it into a hot tent, meaning i bought a velcro stove jack and sewed it in to the front side. My verison has two windows and a rear canopy window. Other versions beofre mine had four windows. But the version i bought was good to put a stove jack closer to the door. Im originally from Arizona, live in deep woods Tennessee now where it rains a lot. Ive been in several huge thunderstorms while camping, I sprayed the tent with water repellant when I first bought. With the addition of the wood burning stove, its a very comfortable tent. Because of the y pole system, its very open inside. I have a cot a small table a decent camping chair, Has a floor but I toss a rug down, so its like carpeting. For one person, this tent is a castle, very roomy. With a wood burning tent stove, because it has vents at top of tent to air out smoke, ventilation. I set up in snow storms, with the fire going, its 70f degrees. On the stove, i can cook meals, coffee. Its been a really good tent for my adventures. Its served me well. I first bought it at walmart in Phoenix three years ago, with a girlfriend, we went camping a bit east of Apache Junction. Was good for two people. I had broke off with that woman. Bought a house in Tennessee and have used this tent to the fullest on my kayaking lakes fishing. Its a large roll up tent, but down small enough to travel on a large kayak with a storage area compartment for gear. This is perfects for car camping , but heavy for backpacking. Have a pull wagon to hike my gear, But I have another tent that I backpack with. But for a couple or a single person wanting a good camp tent, roomy. Its almost like a YERT. I love my teepee. Its a good tent to have and being a triangle like a pyramid, something about this design , can take huge wind gusts. Its amazing how solid this tent is. Its a little hard to raise the poles, yet when up because its staked down its solid. Dont have to really guy line it, its solid. I only guy line by the doorto make getting in and out easier. the only thing is when its raining, because how the door is rain gets inside, but I use a door mat and old towel, but because its a floor tent, I toss a large rug down inside and its like a room, walk around barefoot ...because of the wood stove, it might be 20f degrees outside the tent, but inside with a fire going, its 70+, can hang out in my shorts , no shirt no shoes. Wont be disappointed with this tent.

Had a thunderstorm come over, it poured hard. There was condensation inside the tent, quite a bit, but it didnt leak for four hours heavy rain..then rained all day after. No leaks, the only leak was around the stove jack opening, but that water steamed off with my wood burning stove going. I have electronics , my laptop computer to play movies and a blue toothe speaker, not to mention, a full 12v 100 watt solar power system for electric phone charging and a rice cooker and a 12v little travel refrigerator, a fan....nothing was wet, kept nice and dry. But any tent in a rain storm will have condensation, people probably dont understand that and think its raining in the tent or its leaking, its just condensation and normal of any tent.
