2b2t is basicly the ohio of minecraft Java

Some of Minecraft's data files aren't that robust. Containing a total of zero safety measures to avoid corruption.

My player info gets erased on my single player worlds pretty often with the mods i use

sounds like the server upgraded to winblows. should've used zfs on linux

2b2t is insanly old so it would be normal for it to have glitches but these are unknown. It's a sign that 2b2t is getting a little too old.

The only way these glitches are possible is through an exploit called update suppression. I'm not really into it but it happens when you overload the limit of updates per tick, but no one has ever tried to do it so it must has bean something to do with the server.

The corruptions in the spawn chunks look totally normal compared to the greifing caused by players.

The server became self aware and decided to make a restart

Hard crash during server autosave / save during stopping. Happened in early versions of Tekkit Classic a lot due to black hole chests storing too many items and causing hard crashes during saving of the chunks that contain them. In that scenario it was a lot worse because the chunk would still be valid enough to load so if you entered or rendered the chunk you would immediately crash your client and sometimes the server.

i bet in a alternate universe that player info glitch from 2011 killed 2b2t and never became popular and lots of important stuff never happened

Someone has backdoored 2B2T and has access to world edit, and they are trolling us with so-called "corruptions".
