Maybe the most cruel finish I recall seeing in years. Look it up on Google Earth. It's like they get beyond the pass, then to the ski resort after a long climb. THEN climb this paved goat path service road to the top of the ski runs!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a finish that was that steep for that long! Insane!! I guess that will separate the top climbers at the end of long day of racing!

I can only imagine the pain going up that climb. Impressive for all the riders !

Someone tell me why Enric Mas seems to be Roglič's domestique? What is his strategy? He arrives at a higher speed than Primoz but instead of going pass Primoz, he stays with him, as if he (Enric Mas) is Primoz's best domestique. It happened in multiple mountain stages.

What a crazy climb! If it looks that steep on tv then I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been to race it.

I love cycling . But is too much for the riders. Should be less kilometers. That is why they have to use drugs...

I see Roglic had to swap his bike again. The batteries are just not lasting long enough for a whole stage.

It's time the first ten finishers of each stage have their bikes impounded as soon as they cross the like and x-rayed for motors and batteries before being returned to the teams mechanics. I own a small Chinese x-ray fluoroscope that only cost a few thousand dollars seven years ago. Each bike could be scanned in just two minutes with a similar device. I'm an engineer and I'm sure I could build a motor in the seat post that could drive the bottom bracket shaft using Lithium Ion batteries in the same seat post. With the money some teams have they could easily engineer a rider assist drive for those moments when they're dipping into the red.

I actually doubt ant rider in La Vuelta has a motor in their bike, but it would be nice to be sure.

When the GC let Ben O’Connor grab a 4 minute lead they were stupid,the team directors totally suck!!!

The last few km wasn't cycling, it was leg presses in the gym 😂

That last climb was insane. Had my legs burning and I'm not even moving haha.

Too many viewers, with no barriers, at very top. I thought someone with camera, or drunk, or uncaring, would cause a crash, or impede a rider...Bad organizers of La Vuelta.
