People like to joke on the Coast Guard but these dudes are just as badass.

Sobbing at the gentle nature of this rescuer. He was the calm in the storm.

That they are equally compassionate to pets as to people just....I couldn't stop smiling. Heroes save lives, and that includes the ones their patients love.

I always cringe when I see their boat coming to check us out when we're offshore fishing, but I'm sure glad that they are out there.
